Grian and Jimmy can apparently communicate telepathically while Imp is just Gem's dog. And then Skizz is... Well... Skizz. Fell a little bit bad for Ren ngl.

They should definitely do silent games again.

Stuff I’ve enjoyed: Tiny Echo

Not up for anything long and wordy? How about something small and silent?

The title screen doesn’t really convey much, but the gist is this:

You’re the tiny, adorable mail carrier of the spirit world, determined to deliver the 13 letters you just got to the spirits living in your world. It’s fairly simple mechanics, inviting you to explore and click around to interact with the environment and creatures. There’s some lovely varied settings from dried out rocky areas to lush greenery and little settlements.

The game play is somewhat similar to other silent games with a lot of character and fun scenery, like Botanicula and Samorost. The style is its own though, with a more stylized feel that, for some reason, reminds me of paper art unlike the more textured look of the Samorost games.

It’s all very charming and with a lovely soundtrack that supports the visuals well in my opinion. My description might make it sound terribly cute, and it is, but there’s also enough hints of weird and possibly dangerous to keep it interesting.

I enjoyed spending a bit of time in the spirit world and hope others will give this lovely little game a chance, if nothing else then to figure out what’s up with this:

when our eyes meet in the darkness of your car do you feel competition spark your spirit - or am i alone in this game i created in my mind where our tacit actions convey just how deeply we feel for such small touches and indulge for once in someone else's time ?
