Oracle Think Tank will forever be shit because Silent Tom is too broken, and if Bushiroad gives them decent support, it will further break Silent Tom. I am hurt. I am also terrified to see how bad this GR from Fighter's Collection 2016 will be just because of this.
That feeling when you have multiple Oracle Think Tank decks, but only three Silent Toms, so you know Tom is going to be hoeing from deck to deck because you're not going to put out for more Toms.
Card of the Day #8 - Silent Tom
Damn can this guy do damage! With an effect like that who wouldn't want to run this sucker? 8K may not be the highest attack power available, but when it nullifies almost half the guards in a deck it doesn't need to be! This card is perfect for anchoring a Oracle Think Tank deck as if given the extra power from drive checks and a booster, your opponent may have to defend themselves with the entire hand if not most of it. Guarding large numbers with 5k cards is quite a chore. Plus 5k if you hit a trigger, boost with another 8k and bam! 21k will need to be guarded by atleast three cards if the opponent isn't using a cross-ride! If you see this card hit the field and it's not on your rear-guard, don't let it stick around! Killing it should be one of your top priorities so that you don't lose hand control!
Vanguard Abilities Weekly 3 - Silent Tom
So, for many people that have started playing Cardfight! Vanguard with the English cards, there will be a new booster set coming out in March 10th worldwide :3 So, for Oracle Think Tank players out there, you have Silent Tom. And it's a MUST for Oracle Think Tank Decks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why? It's because as long as your VANGUARD IS ORACLE THINK TANK, YOUR OPPONENT CAN'T GUARD WITH GRADE 0'S! This a great attack because it annoys your opponent a whole lot when they can't guard and if they guard your vanguard and you get a critical trigger, you can just give it to your Silent Tom instead :D Hope you new players can use this.
