The latest episodes of Cardfight Divinez new season and rewatching old episodes of Cardfight Vanguard G have given me the idea for this:
A parallel world universe version of Team Try 3 that crosses universes due to some threat from Cray and interacts with the main timeline cast. Each with a different vanguard and past then the main timeline versions.
Shion Kiba: This Shion is a version who's fears of appearing unperfect and not the son his family wanted led to him pursuing his love of vanguard in secret. Only playing at night time, wearing an all black trench coat and mask and competing in back alley and hidden cardfights. He's a loner at school who doesn't talk much to people and mainly enjoys vanguard for the thrill it gives him. His attitude however completely changes when he runs into Chrono Shindou during a special nighttime tournament at Card Capital. His Avatar is the Shadow Paladin unit, Solitary Black Gale, Altmile.
Tokoha Anjou: This Tokoha has spent her life devoting herself to becoming the best cardfighter she can be after her big brother, Mamorou passed away when she was little. Since he never realized his dream of going pro, she takes on that dream herself, being determined, focused, and deadset on victory against her opponents. But in being so focused, she's lost sight of some of the fun of vanguard. Her avatar is the Kagero unit, Dragon Knight of Blossoming Flames, Asha.
Chrono Shindou: This alternative variant of Chrono Shindou has grown up admiring his father, Rive Shindou and his team, Team Nippon. Chrono has grown up with vanguard and loves how it allows him to connect with so many new friends. Even with his young age, he's already won numerous competitions. He spends his after school hours hanging out at Card Capital 2, training under the tutelage of his mentor and friend, Shin Nitta. But after his latest tournament win, he's been contacted by someone claiming to be a friend of his fathers....A man named Ryuzu Myojin. His Avatar is the Link Joker unit, Timemaster Dragon.
