I also had this from silentlagoon but I’ll only answer once:

1. I’m quite good at baking - my cookies are reasonably famous at my school, with some people offering to pay for either them or the recipe.

2. I give a lot to charity - each year I try to raise at least £250 for a different charity (3 years ago it was comic relief - I raised £250, 2 years ago it was cancer research UK - I raised £250, last year it was MSF - I raised £350, this year it is UNICEF - I have (so far) raised £20, although keep an eye out for a justgiving page as I am planning a Just Dance for UNICEF this summer!)

3. I’m always positive - I don’t get angry and I rarely get sad, I tend to turn to things like inspirational quotes and Desiderata to keep me looking on the bright side of life! “With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.” (If you haven’t hear of this poem GO CHECK IT OUT! I highly recommend it!)

4. I am very organised - You only have to take a look at some of my folders from school to understand this one…

5. I can sing - I’m not the best, I’m probably not even that good, but that doesn’t stop me from giving it a good go! When I was younger I dreamt about becoming a famous singer when I was older. Times have changed, and so have my dreams, but I still love singing. Always have, always will!

It’s very likely that Shakespeare collaborated with his contemporaries. The fact that Shakespeare probably didn’t leave England (there are some who are adamant he travelled during his ‘lost years) is irrelevant. If you look at Shakespeare’s works, he tends to adapt pre-existing stories from all over the world so it wouldn’t matter if he had been there or not. 

It was not uncommon for playwrights at the time to lend each other a hand, there are pages in certain scripts (I don’t remember which ones off the top of my head) where the use of language is a tad inconsistent when compared with the majority of Shakespeare’s work. He is also cited in the Stationer’s Register of 1653 as having written The History of Cardenio with John Fletcher. For those who haven’t heard of Cardenio, it’s one of the plays we have no script for. 

So yeah, he did collaborate.  As for the Sonnets, I agree that they are a far more personal in form and content to not be at least somewhat autobiographical. There’s an argument that the ones written to the ‘fair youth’ may have begun as a commission, encouraging this young man to go forth and marry well and procreate but the more you read the more personal and tender they seem to get.

I know, but my literature professor assigned me to do a presentation on problem plays based on those two, and im stuck.

Alright let's see what I think of.

1. Magic's Pawn by Mercedes Lackey the whole trilogy really, but especially the first one. I love Vanyel. He takes all kinds of crap his whole life and becomes a hero even though he never sees it in himself. He was also the first gay character I ever read and since I was growing up at the time in a SUPER conservative and religious family (as in everything not just like them was EVIL) he just really stuck with me.

2. Last Unicorn by Peter S. Beagle Its the perfect fantasy tale. Its beautiful and heartbreaking and perfect.

3.Beauty by Robin McKinley I love retellings of fairy tales and beauty and the best is a favorite

4. Collected Works of Mark Twain I started reading when I was two and by the time I was five dad refused to buy me kids books anymore because I read too fast. I also adored huge, thick books since logically they should last longer. I picked it up at a used bookstore as a child and read it. Mark Twain is hilarious and the fact that he adored cats too only made me love him even more at that age.

5. Lord of the Rings by Tolkien despite my love for Bilbo I loved LOTR more than the Hobbit. The hugeness of it, the detail, the feeling of weight and sort of ancient truth in it. That sounds stupid but god I loved it.

6. Mirror Prince by Violette Malan I need to reread this one. I just remember thinking it was perfect and it made me grin for like a week.

7. By the Sword by Mercedes Lackey I know, another Lackey but this one is about a girl who does everything for her family and gets shunned for it then becomes an awesome warrior. If you know me at all you'd know why this book got me through the worst of my teenage years.

8. Quantum Rose by Catherine Asaro Science theories and beauty and the beast and space opera like story all in one! I love her stuff but this was the first I read and have reread way too many times to count.

9. Deathstalker by Simon R. Green another space opera. Grand and epic and kick ass.

10. Little Country by Charles De Lint I read this book about every other week for years. It was my first urban fantasy and a book about a book which is my favorite sort of thing!

Wow. Why was thinking of ten books hard? I wasn't even being picky. My mind just blanked. Anyway, here we go!

Hope I'm doing this right. For some reason the rules are confusing me. I'm probably overthinking things (again).

1. Favorite fandom pairings?

Let's see...John/Sherlock, Bilbo/Thorin, Spock/Kirk. Those are the main ones I think but anything well written gets me. (Which is how I got attached to Lestrade/Mycroft)

2. Favorite drink? Tea. Black. No sugar.

3. What is your favorite word? Least favorite? This is hard. Something like stitching or smithing or smelting. That sounds crazy probably, but I like how they make me feel when I write or say them. A word I don't like would be something like poop. Vulgar. Not funny. Just ick.

4. What is your favorite commercial? I don't get tv so I don't see any anymore. Oh, wait! Those New Zealand Air commercials. They're great.

5. What is the strangest thing you have ever eaten? Gator? I guess. Depends on where you're from. I'm not one to eat things not meant to be eaten.

6. Which of the four seasons do you most love? Or Hate? Hate summer. Hot ick. Love fall/winter.

7. If you could only have one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? Chicken Pot Pie with two crusts.

8. What is your perfect pizza? I love alfredo with chicken mushrooms bacon lots of cheese and finely chopped spinach.

9. Best compliment you have received? I told a friend I'd never seen Xena before (still haven't) and he looked at me in shock and said "How have you not? You ARE Xena! You're totally a Xena!"

10. What do you want to know about the future? Where to look for a job I can live on.

11. You can select one person from history and have them truthfully answer one question, who would you select and what is the question? God I don't know. I'm drawing a complete blank. Its lame but I've got nothing. Sorry!
