When you first became a vegetarian were people judging you a lot? Looking at you like you're some crazy person, accusing you of being odd, etc. Because I'm having a really hard time with it.

I mean I still have people that give me a hard time. Some people are just shocked and confused, they probably haven't had that much exposure to vegetarianism and all they need is an explanation. In other cases people get hostile because they're desperately trying to justify their own diet in the face of someone who sees it as abhorrently wrong. Other people are just rude. Regardless of what people think of you, the decision to become a vegetarian is awesome, you are awesome, and the help you are doing for the cause is awesome, so don't let it get to you!
