😄 - A friendship plotline (i.e. becoming friends, old friends reunited, friends breaking up) - Shockwave? Having friends? Unlikely I can actually see them getting overly friendly just to spite Starscream (and disturb everyone else), and accidently becoming actual friends without (at least) Shockwave realizing it. He needs someone to tell him when he's acting like a mad scientist, anyway. The evil cackling is becoming a problem.
💰 - A plotline based on monetary gain (i.e. business partners, partners in crime, coworkers) - I honestly can't see wartime Shocks being involved in something like this, but pre-war (still post-empurata though) or post-war Shocks wouldn't hesitate to get with Soundwave to gain some funds for his projects. I like the idea of a post-war Shockwave and Soundwave terrorizing the newly rebuilt cities on Cybertron with some get rich scheme. It's very on brand for them.
🤐- A blackmailing plotline (i.e. via information, hostage situation, object of value) - VERY on brand for Soundwave, but imagine if its twisted around and Shockwave is blackmailing Soundwave with something? I'd be down for this, either wartime or post-war works.
💼 - A plot where our muses share a goal and are working to achieve it together (i.e. starting a business, inventing something new) - thats just wartime them? I'd be down for this too, I just can't think of anything they'd do that exists outside of the Decepticons and the war - maybe Shockwave's predacon project? Because he continues that post-war no matter what, so.
