Hello! Welcome to my blog, my name is Rae! This blog used to be a side blog of my main, @silent-stalker, but I moved it to be its own main blog so I could add TFA Shockwave and SG Shockwave verses.

ps. the only real difference between wartime and postwar verses for TFP Shockwave is that one still works for a lunatic and the other is a hermit with his dragon kids and a cat and is ignoring requests to get therapy.

:: Most vulnerable? Well...I suppose while my frame is heavy in armor, my neck, winglets, the slats just beneath my chest, inner thighs, antenna...those are all still weak points I haven't been able to cover. Most of my back, really, has less armor than I'd like and is rather sensitive still....::

A long, long pause.

:: Kisses? Well, I....I can't return them, not traditionally, but....I...like to receive them? That might not be the right way to phrase it. I would like to be kissed. ::

:: How very....dominating...of you. :: If he says anything more, the mirth in his voice is going to bleed through and betray how much this is amusing to him. Adorable, but amusing.

:: Of course it's ok, Smokescreen, I wouldn't invite you over if it wasn't! And good. Good. I'll be ready and waiting for you. :: His own fans hum as they turn on, and his winglets have started up a constant little wriggle of delight, but he barely notices as he rushes about his quarters. Most of his files, datapads and other odds and ends all get tossed into drawers and boxes and shoved out of sight...there really isn't much to tidy up.

His quarters are rather bare, honestly.

Other than the rarely used kitchen, the table he used to have the occasional meal, the large desk and all of it's monitors, screens and tools, all that really took up space was an old sort of loveseat covered in plush, warm blankets, the seat just big enough for two mechs to sit uncomfortably close together. A small, short table sits to the side of it, where he puts down two cubes and bowl for later.

Shockwave rushes to open the door at the knock, winglets hiking up and fluttering with delight upon seeing Smokescreen on the other end. "Smokescreen! I'm so glad you came over, I've missed you dearly. Please come in, so I may....demonstrate to you how one kisses."

:: Absolutely. :: For as smooth and confident as he sounded, Shockwave was flustered, panicking just a bit. He'd never really gotten this far in a relationship before, not in this frame, at least. :: Then you should....come over. Right now. I'm not busy, you can meet me in my quarters - you remember where the door is. :: Excuse him he has to leave his lab and run to throw his quarters into order because who kisses a cute bot in the middle of their lab?

Hey, Hey, Longarm! Are you free later? I'd love to show you the crystal gardens we have growing here, maybe get your thoughts.

Shock - err, Longarm is in the middle of a...debriefing with one of his mechs, and he only pings Smokescreen for a moment , cuts the commlink with a short apology, and turns back to the mech. At least Jazz knows not to comment. This is one of the better Autobots he had to deal with...

A little bit later, maybe an hour or so, Longarm opens that comms back and immediately apologizes again.

:: Apologies, one of my mechs had only just returned from a mission and required my immediate attention. I'm free to speak, now...and a walk in those crystal gardens would...would be lovely, Smokescreen. I'd be honored. ::

Smokescreen is patient, and actually gets to a bit of his own work whilst he waits, sitting up straight as Longarm calls,

::No worries! I didn’t mean to interrupt you while you were working, sorry ‘bout that! Hopefully everything is okay on your end right now? It sounds like there’s a few bots in your universe that are... A lot. No offense. And great, it’s a date! When would you be up to check them out?::

::I can send over my coordinates in a bit, or you can just meet me at my place, like before.::

He sinks down in his desk chair, worries vanishing as Smokescreen dismisses his apology. At least that would go his way today.

:: Don't apologize, I'm an Intel mech. I'm always working, and interruptions are appreciated. You just caught me at a bad time, is all. And.... :: A long, heavy sigh. :: No offense taken. We perhaps tolerate too much for the sake of winning our war....things are quiet here. I can go today, if you'd like? I am off duty until the morning, and tomorrow I won't be available until much later. ::

The new commlink on his screen only gets a glance as tries to herd his two smallest predacons back towards their nest of blankets and toys for a nap - and then he takes a second look, pulls up an old file, and hums to himself.

Do human parents share advice and tips? Because no one else on this damn planet has even considered sparklings and he has two of them and a teenager -

"DARKSTEEL DO NOT CHEW ON THAT CABLE!"

He has work to be doing, but its just filling out forms and watching data - nothing that can't be done with minimal attention and a datapad.

"Of course I'd want to! You got a new pet? Did another cat wander into your base?"

"Actually, believe it or not, they were a gift from Prowl. They're a virtual creature, and I have been taking care of them, and I believe they are just about to mature, so I wanted you to see that with me."

Smokescreen holds his tamagotchi out, so Shockwave can see the little kittenscreen that seems VERY happy, and have been given as much love and attention as possible.

"Oh, really? He didn't seem like the type to give out gifts..." Then again, he didn't really know Prowl. Knockout knew more, and sometimes mentioned the terrifying Autobot, but never to any extent that gave Shockwave decent knowledge. "Ah, thank you for letting me see something so important!"

Shockwave is delicate has he leans in to look at the tamagotchi - he won't comment on the design chose, though it was quite fitting for Smokescreen - to look at the kittyscreen. Huh, that' looked quite familiar - "Is this cat supposed to be you? It's so adorable!"
