Are Lifestyle Ultra Sensitivebokay to use for anal se ? And is Astroglide okay to use for it as well?
The FDA hasn’t approved any condoms for anal use. We wrote an article about why, which you can read here. It basically comes down to the fact that the anus is typically tighter than a vaginal canal, and it doesn’t produce its own lubricant. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t use them. LifeStyles Ultra Sensitive still passed their regulations, which means with ample lubricant and provided they are the right size, you shouldn’t have a problem. As far as lubricant, we strongly recommend silicone-based lubricants for anal. The anus’ job is to absorb water from waste, which means that if you use a water-based lube, it’s going to absorb very quickly and cause some potential dangers, like a broken condom or micro tears in the anus. AstroGlide makes a silicone-based lube called AstroGlide X which we couldn’t recommend more highly. But if you can’t get your hands on that, consider a different silicone-based lube, like Pjur BodyGlide or WET Naturals Silky Supreme. It really will make all the difference.
