napkin   remains   casually   laid   over   his   lap   as   he   leans   back   ,   arm   resting   on   the   railing   ,   watching   skiers   skid   past   .   the   occasional   one   quite   the   tumble   .   the   aroma   of   hot   plates   and   rich   cocktails   mingles   with   the   crisp   mountain   air   and   he   is   quite   content   to   stay   for   the   rest   of   the   afternoon   .   a   faint   smirk   tugs   at   the   corner   of   his   lips   ,   the   glint   in   his   eye   hidden   behind   shades   .   “  y'know   ,   if   there   was   a   medal   for   stackin'   it   ...   half   these   people   would   be   bringing   home   gold  .  ”

as   unamerican   as   they   come,   posh   accent   shining   through   with   every   sentence   that   escapes   lips   -   would've   been   thrown   in   the   boston   harbor   and   yet   his   appearance   embodies   the   city.   brooklyn   bridge   in   background   as   back   leans   against   balustrade,   mets   baseball   jacket   comforting   frame   against   the   wind.   "   sight   of   the   city   sure   never   gets   old,   "   he   says   to   auburn   -   haired   femme.   trying   to   become   more   american   to   fit   in,   they're   quite   the   chatty   people.
