𝐓𝐇𝐄  𝐐𝐔𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒  𝐌𝐀𝐊𝐄  𝐇𝐈𝐌  𝐁𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐋𝐄,  like  a  deer  caught  in  the  headlights  of  a  vehicle  that  was  about  to  be  struck  and  brought  to  its  death  right  then  and  there.  Fans  were…weird.  Taejoon  was  used  to  it  for  the  most  part,  but  some  of  these  questions  were  really  out  of  left  field.   His  lips  were  pulled  into  a  fine  line,  parting  softly  to  speak  before  they  closed  once  more  instead.

𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓  𝐃𝐎𝐄𝐒  𝐇𝐄  𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍  𝐒𝐀𝐘  𝐓𝐎  𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒?   How  does  he  explain  it  all?  Does  he  explain  it  all?  If  not  all,  then  what  does  he  keep?  what  does  he  leave  out?  Does  he  talk  about  how  everything  around  him  stops  when  Woohyuk  steps  into  the  room?  Does  he  talk  about  how  he  sees  him—all  of  him,  and  not  just  his  pretty  face  and  his  body  like  everyone  else  did, but  who  he  was  as  an  actual  person?  They’ve  known  each  other  for  what  felt  like  centuries,  even  if  it  was  only  several  years.  And  even  then—especially  then  (  especially  now,  too  ),  Taejoon  had  seen  Woohyuk  for…Woohyuk.  Nothing  more,  nothing  less.   His  heart  fluttered  in  his  chest  like  a  caged  bird;  rampant  and  trying  to  escape  just  from  thinking  about  him.

𝐃𝐎𝐄𝐒  𝐇𝐄  𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐊  𝐀𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐓  the  ache  that  he  feels  when  he’s  away  for  too  long?  Does  he  mention  how  the  sound  of  his  voice  has  Taejoon  perk  up  instantaneously?  The  way  he  looks  at  him…The  way  he  tastes?  The  way  he  holds  him,  touches  him,  makes  Taejoon  feel  secure  for  the  first  time  in  a  long  time?  the  way…

𝐇𝐄  𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐊𝐄𝐒  𝐇𝐈𝐒  𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐃  slightly  to  get  the  thoughts  out  of  his  mind,  exhaling  sharply  as  he  tries  to  keep  his  composure  and  his  facade  up.  He  wondered  why  they  thought  this  when  they  were  generally  good  at  hiding  it…was  this  because  of  that  fan  signing  earlier  in  the  week?  Someone  pointed  they  were  sitting  far  too  close  to  each  other—one  had  pointed  out  possible  flirting  which  Taejoon  denied  on  the  spot.  He  wanted  to  say…that  Woohyuk  made  him  feel…Normal.  Human  again.  Whole.

But  he  couldn’t  say  that  either.

𝐇𝐄  𝐋𝐀𝐔𝐆𝐇𝐒  𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐎𝐔𝐒𝐋𝐘—it’s…awkward.  His  cheeks  burned.

“Uh…no.  There’s  nothing  between  us.  We’re  just…”  boyfriends.  We’re  boyfriends.   “Really  close  friends.  That’s  all.  You  probably  got  your  info  from  fan-shippers…They’ll  make  anything  up.  Crazy,  right?”

𝐖𝐇𝐘?  𝐒𝐎  𝐘𝐎𝐔  𝐂𝐀𝐍  𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋  𝐌𝐄  𝐈𝐍  𝐀  𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊  𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐘?  He  wouldn’t  say  that.  He  would  never  say  that,  but  he  would  think  it  over  and  over  and  over  again.  Ezreal  was  nothing  if  not  suspicious—nothing  if  not  curious;  but  mostly  suspicious.  He’s  seen  demons  before  (  his  mind  goes  to  Evelynn…then  to  Rhaast…  ),  golden  eyes  flicker  to  Jinhwa,  squinting  from  behind  round,  orange  tinted  glasses,  suspicious  of  the  pink  haired  freak  man  who  had  approached  him.

𝐇𝐈𝐒  𝐍𝐎𝐒𝐄  𝐖𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐊𝐋𝐄𝐒.  If  he  says  yes,  he  has  to  deal  with  a  damn  SAJA  BOY.  If  he  says  no,  it  could  be  bad  publicity,  somehow.  In  his  mind,  Ezreal  screams,  hands  shoved  into  the  pockets  of  the  purple  sweater  he  wore,  lips  pursed  into  a  pout  as  he  thought  for  a  moment,  gaze  pulled  away  briefly  from  the  other  before  looking  back  at  him.

𝐈𝐅  𝐇𝐄  𝐖𝐀𝐒  𝐁𝐄𝐈𝐍𝐆  𝐇𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐓…Jinhwa  didn’t  really  seem…terrible  at  all.  Not  like  that  little  prick  who  was  supposed  to  be  the  ‘cute  one’.  He  sighs,  trying  to  stop  thinking  about  him.  Maybe  he  shouldn’t  base  the  entire  group  on  one  bad  apple,  right?  That’s  what  his  uncle  would  tell  him…Okay,  fine.  He’d  give  this  one  a  chance.  Just  because  he  seemed  nice  and  pretty,  he  guessed.

“Uhhh,  sure!  I  guess,  why  not?  I  mean,  gotta  get  to  know  my  Hoobaes,  right?”  He  grins  at  him;  sharp  canines  and  slightly  bucked  front  teeth  on  full  display.

“   when do they want it ?   ”      he asks, gaze still focused on the review of their latest haul. messy scrawl on the stray sheet of paper, tallied lines counting the number of pills they'd managed to scrounge up. those were going to be the most useful, at least from the jump. joel picks up the metal tin and holds it to the side of the table before using a hand to brush the pills into it and s n a p p i n g the lid shut. only then do dark eyes flit to tess for a moment, attempting to see if the next job seemed like it would be worth it. he looks back down to begin to sort out some items they're better off keeping for themselves. materials, spare rations ... anything that wouldn't get them anything, but would easily be snatched if someone saw either of them walking down the street with it. | @silklies ♡

𝐖𝐇𝐘  𝐖𝐀𝐒  𝐇𝐄  𝐒𝐎  𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐃?   This  was  not  the  first  scuff  that  Taejoon  had  ever  gotten  into;  it  was  not  the  first  wound  he  had  ever  had.  It  probably  wouldn’t  be  the  last,  either.   Still,  those  hunters  were…impressive,  since  they  managed  to  cut  someone  as  fast  as  Taejoon—he  was  lucky  he  had  gotten  away.

𝐀𝐓𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐓  𝐖𝐎𝐎𝐇𝐘𝐔𝐊  𝐖𝐀𝐒  𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐋𝐄,  Taejoon’s  hands  gently  resting  on  the  other  man’s  hands  as  he  examined  the  cut  on  the  younger  cheek  bone.  It  wasn't  too  deep  of  a  cut,  but  it  was  still  bleeding  and  would  absolutely  leave  a  small  mark  if  not  dealt  with  properly.  It  stung,  he  could  admit  that,  but  still  he  thought  that  Woohyuk  was  over  reacting.  It  probably  wasn’t  going  to  be  great  for  his  image,  though…He’d  figure  it  out.

 “…Don’t  worry  so  much.  It’s  just  a  scratch.”

he leans into the kiss, almost melting into it. steve has that affect on him lately, more than stefan ever thought he would. but here he was, pulling him closer against him in the boy's locker room. this was definitely becoming more than stefan being a distraction to get steve's mind away from nancy. & the vampire didn't mind it, not one bit.
