I have been wondering about laser hair removal for years now, but never really decided to do it because of intimacy factor, not to mention the price. So when I was given a chance to test it in the privacy of my own home, at my own leisure not to mention for free (thanks Influenster!), of course I was absolutely delighted. I have to admit that I was very skeptical about lasers in general and at home-treatments in particular. I have quite coarse dark hair and usually in summertime I keep my legs hairless by epilating, but it has to be done at least once a week for truly smooth legs. I also have some stubborn hair on my upper lip, that are truly a headache to keep off my face! Having now used this system for the past 5 weeks or so I can definitely say it works. It is completely painless to use and there are no other adverse side-effects to it at all. The pulsing light covers a large area so the process is comparatively quick as well. After about 4 weeks I saw definite reduction in the amount of hair, the hair that still is there grows back finer, but it's not totally gone. I'm wondering if consistent usage will completely eliminate the hair or if it will return to normal when you discontinue the use of the system. For now, I keep using it in hopes of eliminating what hair I have left. I would definitely recommend this product over an in-salon treatments, especially for those who value a good bargain and their privacy.
