Okay, so the writers had them make the mature, adult move as a strong healthy couple, acknowledging they're not ready for that step yet – one day, but not now & that it doesn't mean they love each other any less  –

But then FORCE them to take the step too early anyway?

Just to add strain to a relationship where their isn't none?

I get they need to keep a conflict going and all, but I guess Nick & Jess are making it extremely hard for them when they keep being so damn reasonable, mature, and hopelessly in love.
