Anyway here my dear, it's the badge on some background character in an animated cutscene in the new P3R trailer:

Frankly I was more distracted by the Team Rocket "R" but que sera sera some ppl didn't like the rainbow badge. TT0TT

Off topic, but considering the lighting.....it reminds me of this part from the opening cutscene:

So I'm wondering if it's part of the new opening cutscene remake.

Anyway I hope that clears things up!

@toguchindraws Yeah I agree about P3. I do think PQ1 does touch that sad part tho (it's just split into "happy 1st half, and gut puncher the 2nd half" TT0TT tbf it is trying to build mystery into the 2nd half).

Dark in exchange for fun.... I remember trying to play an Eragon game on the DS and it was one of the worst experiences I ever had. TT0TT

Hmmmm do you think it's because they feel like they need to be "realistic" and "hard" for it to feel dark? Or maybe because they think fun is silly and it clashes with the "dark atmosphere" fkldjsaflkj

@toguchindraws 100% agree on the comedy. I do think it's viewed as "lesser and safe," which is ironic cause I think comedy is harder to do (when it's good). Cause it not only has to get laughs (and it's hard to do that after multiple viewings) but also it needs to age well (which this tends to be the genre that doesn't).

Funny enough, I'm playing DreadOut (almost done with act 1....if it'll ever load again ;w;) and I LOVE the weird comedy that's in there. Sure it's at the beginning of the game before the scary stuff happens. And it doesn't really further the plot along (the guy getting a door closed on his head, the random high stakes bout of patty cake, slap that follows, the strangling of a friend and their classmate taking a picture-like I wouldn't mind playing a game that was just 100% this it was funny) none of that furthers the plot along.......but it does establish character and character relations.

And I 100% agree about people feeling that 100% grittiness is what you have to achieve to make it dark.

Ah it was “For all we know the MegamiTensei wiki could just be filled with incorrect info and we would be none the wiser.” And then people started sharing their stories. (One person had to fight to claim Jun was gay iirc, I personally was advocating to the original generic name to keep it uniformed otherwise they should use all the anime names cause it looks like shit not being uniformed, they won’t take the smiling ep tatsuya portrait, they deleted Forced Battle’s page cause they didn’t like it was not “one more god rejected,” they dragged feet on getting rid of the theory that Hiiriji is Aleph, and or when someone wanted to change something they got banned cause the mod was mean and so on and so on).

Enough people said “we need a new wiki” and I was like “fine what do I need to do?” And it was like.....two seconds to make. 

I think anyone can edit, I’m the only mod atm. I only have those two rules in place cause I want uniformity. 

I personally want to have sub pages that look like this: 

So Primary/main page would be like ‘Persona 4 Hero,” which will talk about the events of P4/G (and DramaCDs related to those). He’ll be referred to as Hero (or Leader) during those synopsis. Then the next tab will be “Souji Seta” and it’ll only talk about the synopsis of the manga. Then it’ll be Yu Narukami Anime, and it’ll talk about Yu Narukami in both animes and drama CDs related to those. Then Yu Narukami Game, which will talk about Yu Narukami in Arena/Ultimax/Dancing and manga adaptations of those games (or drama CDS related to it). 

For someone with smaller pages like Tamaki and FeMC. It’d probs be like 2 tabs for Tamaki. First one being “SMT IF Heroine” where it just talks about what occurs in SMT IF as a silent MC, and then the next tab is dedicated to Tamaki who appears in Persona. And then a tab for anthologies I guess (if there are any, I’m not double checking).

For FeMC it’d be Persona 3 Heroine, and it talks about the game. Next tab is for PQ2, one for the Stage Play, and maybe one for the DramaCD.

That way they can be analyzed individually without being conflated (because Minato and Makoto’s characterizations are NOT the same, same with P4 Hero vs Yu or Souji, nameless MC can make decisions that Yu nor Souji had taken). 

This should also keep name wars away imo.

I did mean to put that on the list so I’ll fix that now lkfdjdaslkf The manga was also cut short too iirc u_u (you started it Atlus at least let it play out! same with PQ1 side P3!)

Well there’s this (I think he’s talking to simplydad, and even tho he’s questionable still doesn’t excuse Phan’s behavior):

The worst ones is him harassing a 14 year old earlier this year(? oh god it’s been so long), iirc it was over them asking not to post porn of Persona chars (esp them being in their underage forms) and he went off. I have to dig for the tweets by the kid who called him out a few months ago. So if I stumble across it again I’ll add it here. 

Right before the life threatening thing today, he was called out for having BLM in his bio but not retweeting links (thus making it feel very...uhhhh fake support...can’t think of the right word sorry ;w; ....theatrical? is that the word i’m looking for? It felt fake ok? 8U). He claims he was gonna do it and tried to downplay it by “being harassed for not being fast enough” I didn’t see the convo but from how people are describing it, he seems to just went off the handle on someone who was just being like “Hey! Can you do this? :D” kinda thing. But I didn’t see it, so take this part with a grain of salt. You can probs still find the tweets tho

And now recently he was calling MysticDistance to the point of obsession and would leave threatening voicemails even threatening his (and his girlfriend’s) life/wellbeing and...well here’s just the thread

He was like “you better not mess with my relationship with Atlus” fkldsjaf;ka he valued a relationship with a company over his friend’s wellbeing >:( (no he threatened his friend’s wellbeing for a company relationship D:<) Had half a mind to @ atlus’ twitter right then and there but didn’t cause Mystic might not have wanted that. 

The 14 year old thing was what brought his other issues to light earlier this year (such as him saying the N word when he’s not black), but this seems to be the case of the straw that broke the camels back, and the community is finally calling him out on his BS. He does a really, really shitty apology, to make people feel sympathy for him, says he’ll “do better” and then proceeds to be a pretty shitty person. 

But as of typing this, it looks like he relinquished his account to two(?) new moderators (they gonna try to rebrand I think). His personal account is PhanSkull in case you want someone to block (not harass of course, just block).

@skania Aww thanks! And I’ll totally do it, she’s one of my favs and ahhhhhh I love her so much! ;w; I just have an issue of jumping around a lot DX Atm I’m doing FeMC stuff, so depending on how long that takes (cause I can use her as a nice rough guesstimation on how P3MC will take) I might do Mitsuru after her instead of P3MC (cause it shouldn’t take as long). Or I might take a break mid FeMC and do Mitsuru’s cause I wanna look into her hidden depths a lot more. orz
