SILLY OLD ME
silly old me. silly old me to believe in you. silly old me to think you was any different. silly old me to give you more than i had to give myself. silly old me to let you ruin me like others have before you. silly old me to trust in you, not only with my heart but with my life. silly old me to actually have faith that you would make me happy. silly old me to try and try days upon months upon years, to try make you value me. silly old me to let you in again. but silly old me isnt silly anymore.
I just had dinner with one of my new roommates and it was pretty awesome! Major pluses: she isn't crazy in a psychokiller way, she's super sweet and is a kind of huge book nerd so, yay! Also, she is a bit more of a partier than I, loves plants more than I and is a month, and a day younger than I, therefor, I can learn a lot from her. She wants to end world hunger (no, big deal) and appreciates my "ambitious" goal to be come an obstetrician. I think this is a start to a really nice friendship.
Btw, I am glad she doesn't follow me yet because this is slightly stalkerish.
All I do with my life now is obsess over 5 Seconds of Summer and watch Netflix.
So, something scary happened today.
My little brother, who is twelve and autistic and considered very non verbal, did not come home on the bus like he was supposed to. Initially, we were told he was put on a different bus because our typical bus driver was absent. Then, we were told that he was picked up by a parent from school. Then, the story changed to the school simply not knowing where he was. The scariest two hours of our life. I am so glad that my little brother is finally safely home and with in my arms reach.
So, I decided I am going to push through this semester no matter what. I can handle 17 science units and a job and babysitting all the time. Because I'm Whitney Menary and I am bad ass. Also, I have decided that I don't really need care about what others think of me and my choices. I know I am a respectable 20 year old who can go as far as I please and the people who accept me for what I am will decide to want me in their lives. Anybody else will have a wonderful life without me. I'm not angry or hurt in anyway. Simply accepting of every individual. Because everybody deserves at least that much.
Ahhhhh.
Everything in my classes made sense today. What the hell? I have been struggling for five weeks and am pretty sure that tomorrow I will be in the same boat but as of today, biology, chemistry and calculus made freaking sense. Just rolled out if bed and had knowledge. Ahhhhhhhhhhh.
My attention span on things not concerning school at the moment:
Me: oh! I want to listen to the new P!nk CD I got!
*looks for headphones, apparently forgot headphones at home*
Me: Aww, that's okay.
Me (40 seconds later): Oh! I can listen to the Les Mis CD instead!
