I don't know if somebody else has talked about this before, but in "Interview with the Vampire" Season 2, Episode 1, Lestat told Louis that he is "merely waiting until he's happy." I didn't think much about this until the last episode.

In the last episode, Louis is sitting with Armand, Claudia, and Madelaine at the table, having a good time. Then Armand calls Santiago and his crew to get them because he had to make a "choice." We then see Lestat in the theatre, and in the preview of Episode 7. And I'm not readyy🙏🙏

What I'm saying is that the writers knew exactly what they were doing with this. Really I don't know if it's foreshadowing but they tied the connection between the events perfectly. Lestat really "merely waited" to destroy Louis's happiness after everything that happened to him. But did he really mean to do that to him? is it really Lestat's fault? Or Armand's.

Lestat has warned Claudia and Louis about the cavern and the vampires and look where they are now.

The writers are sickkk.😭😭😭

All the old art of these silly ocs are really bad reflections of what they are now but they're the first references of them so the art persists. How I used to draw things on my phone is a mystery to me 💀

But anyway, here's the first ref of Lorelei ever. She's the only one whose body type is consistent from the start lol I always intended for her to be a string bean.

I'll never admit this anywhere else, but her design is partially ripped off from my Saints Row character. I'll try to grab some screen caps of it because it's such a funny little secret to me. And her design has to be the simplest but she's my favorite oc to draw from the trio.

I already mentioned this in a different post but vampy Amelie is.. very violent. So much so, that it's out of her control at times as she's not used to the change in her/doesn't have anyone to help her figure out the whole vampire thing.

She has Lorelei but that's not exactly helpful.

Anything can make her aggressive. Sounds, smells, memories.. etc.

The whole process of becoming a vampire is very shocking especially if done at a rapid rate!

I'll go into how the vamps work in my little oc world in a different post but one thing to note is this: If the process of turning is accelerated it can cause severe damage to the person.

Vampire Amelie again! She's just the silliest. I always draw her with a big crazy smile but that'll end when she remembers.

Anyway,

Since her transformation she's been unable to figure out a way to balance her meal times and she's still not used to her newfound strength. It's very easy to set her off. So you can imagine there's going to be a lot of accidents. She's at least figured out how to cover her tracks well enough aside from getting the stains off of her. But she convinces everyone it's all fake and part of her aesthetic.

Ame is insistent that she's as strong as a vampire so Vi likes to pretend she's a dainty fairy to indulge her. But the truth of the matter is, one of them can lift the other with one hand and one couldn't even get the other to budge even if she used all her body weight!

Makes you wonder how vampires are beaten.

First art I ever did of Amelie. Idk WHY I gave her stick arms here because now I draw her with muscle 😳 I think I was still figuring out how to break away from the more cartoony look I guess.

Fun fact about Lee (nickname given to her by Lorelei) she doesn't know a single thing about DJing! Doesn't understand how to use the equipment, how to mix, etc. She's just there for stage presence and to lend her voice for Lie (nickname she gives Lorelei) to use. But ofc no one in the audience ever catches on to it.
