Der Silvaner besticht durch eine dezente Frucht. Seine milde Säure macht ihn sehr bekömmlich.

Silvaner, auch Sylvaner oder Grüner Silvaner, ist eine autochthone Weißweinsorte aus Österreich. Ihre größte Verbreitung hat sie in Deutschland. In ihrem Ursprungsland Österreich hat sie nur untergeordnete Bedeutung.

2015 Weingut Gysler Silvaner Halbtrocken

Lounging with a liter of German Silvaner because you know that’s how I roll. Underripe pineapple, candied lemon peel, pear flesh, wet stone, and a hint of canned mandarin orange slices on the nose. Similar on the palate with the pear, candied lemon, and canned mandarin slices. Sweet lemon rind on the finish with a bit of stony minerality.
