Me and my friends making Ron Swanson AUs

*After reading posts about Ron Swanson in Dumbledore’s place*

Silvath: Let's play a game where you name a story and we try to figure out who Ron Swanson would replace.

Me: I was going to say Supernatural, but...

Silvath: Bobby, but that wouldn't change much.

Jostur: No, what about Ron Swanson as Dean, and Leslie as Sam?

Jostur: Star Trek. Next Generation.

Silvath: Which captain is that?

Jostur and me: Picard.

Silvath: Ok, right....

Jostur: Worf?

Silvath: Ryker, and everyone hits on him like they do to Ryker, but he doesn't care 'cause they're not dark-haired women with breakfast.

Me: Oh, my gosh. Ron Swanson as Odo on Deep Space Nine.

Jostur and Silvath: YES!

Me: Twilight? ...Charlie.

Silvath: Two thoughts. One: Leslie as Bella and Ben as Edward; two: April as Bella and Andy as Edward.

Jostur: Leslie and Ben would work better.

Silvath: And he could wear his Batman costume all the time. Oh, who's the peppy guy again?

Me: Chris.

Silvath: Chris as Carlisle and Ann as Esme.

Jostur: I can totally see Andy as Emmett and April as Rosalie.

Me: Doctor Who.

Silvath: Well, he couldn't be the Doctor, or he'd never have left Gallifrey.

Jostur: A companion then? Maybe Rory.

Me: A reluctant companion.

...

Me: DONNA! Like the first episode when she just appears in the TARDIS.

Jostur: Then Leslie would be the Doctor in that case.

I needed a hippogriff character because reasons. Made my own sort of version to fit into the world he’s going in. 

Edit: He’s got a name now; calling him Codrin, but he mostly just goes by Rin.

LGBTober Day 6: Sunrise

This one went through a few iterations, which I try to avoid with daily prompt sort of things since time is limited for them. I knew I wanted to draw Shanya, but originally I’d pictured it outside, but it was kind of uninteresting, so I drew something else indoors and including her partner, but it wasn’t coming across right. Ultimately, I decided to keep the bedroom but set it at a different point in the story, and by then I was out of time so here we are. idk how people who know nothing about my characters will see this but it has a point to me and I guess that’s what matters. Fun to do something that gets me to work with characters I don’t share much though
