Favourite scene?

Oohhh favourite scene?? not sure actually- if i had to pick one I'd say this one from "When it Rains":

“Do you trust me?” Shinya slyly asked.

“Huh?”

“Do you trust me?”

Tsunagu was hesitant to answer, not because he didn’t trust him, but because he had a feeling as to what was going to happen. “...yes...”

Without missing a beat, Shinya leaned forward and pressed the cold, disinfectant-soaked cotton pad against Jeanists cheek. This caused Tsunagu to scrunch up his face and let out a tiny screech from the shock - it stung like hell - and he was not prepared. “Wrong answer!” Shinya chuckled. He was a little unsure whether he was actually going to do that or not, but knew that it would only hurt more if the other man had to slowly and hesitantly do it himself...plus he actually knew what he was doing.

“Argh! You- you’re evil you know that?” Tsunagu yelped and sat upright, trying to get used to the sting of the disinfectant that was seeping into his cut.

“I try my best,” Shinya hummed as he held the taller mans face, tilting it slightly upwards to better see the injury in the light.

What scene am I most hyped for in Villain au?

OUGH, tough one. Villain au doesn't have a very set plotline but there is a scene I'd like to write out for it one day! Tsunagu gets caught and locked away, but Shinya comes and breaks him out. It's simple but they are both incredibly feral and insane and it brings a fun flavour to it lmao

No chorus of screams can be heard, there are no eruptions of light, no fear left, no hope.

Only dust.

Dust, and the blood of those who had nurtured life in their hands and steered the universe in the direction it needed to be.

Dust. And silence.

…

Fate.

One god remaining.

Join us in our cycle of torment, laugh at our misfortune, encourage the sadistic nature of our lives beyond death. 

We lived to  entertain, and through death it stayed the same. The hurt caused by one, many being affected by his ignorance. We only wish to ease the passing of those who are as unfortunate as we were. 

One last laugh before death. 

One last performance before the curtains close. 

So laugh and cry, scream and dance, enjoy your time.

“Unfolding reality”

Shinya was strong- is strong. He’ll be okay.

But he’s injured, fuck, he’s injured… his heart started malfunctioning during the last time loop, Tsunagu had carried him to a medical room and started to rewire it, taking it out to try and steady it as his visor wasn’t showing the correct vitals-

And then.

Then… the loop reset too early. That had never happened. In all their years fixing anomalies in time, space, reality- this had never happened.

Then, he woke up here.

And Shinya was gone.

“Many threads make a strong rope”

“This gala isn’t what you think it is. It is a test of a hero’s skill to organise, plan, strategise, communicate and put others at ease via entertainment.” Hawks paused, looking at the shocked and intrigued expressions in front of him. “Every year, a different hero is chosen to ‘host’ the gala. These are normally heroes who are high in popularity ranking, or whose role in society is largely entertainment and communication with society.”

He looked around for a moment.

“Like Uwabami, for example,” he gestured to the snake hero who was setting up tables at the end of the room, “or, in this case, good ol’ Best Jeanist!”

He pointed towards the fiber hero who, in that very moment, seemed to be stuck to the table cloth that his friend was setting. You could hear a very faint “ah fuck” in the distance as he tried to untangle himself.

‘Ah. Good god man.’

“Neon souls”

The arena was deafening with the bloodthirsty cries of the people. It was said that the screams of delight and adrenaline-filled exasperation would echo through the city like a call to those not there, drawing them in to watch the downfall of others like beasts surrounding fresh prey.

Inhale…1, 2, 3…exhale…1, 2, 3…

He could hear the booming music growing louder, drowning out the rapid thumping coming from his own chest. ‘Calm. Calm and collected, Tsunagu.’ he reminded himself. Staying calm was essential during a Skyrace. Anything could happen.

Checking the screen above him, he made a mental note of how close it was to the start of the event. It wouldn't be long- oh! Theres the final advertisement….fuck, okay- here it comes, aaaaaannddddd-

“ALLLLL RIIGGGHHHTTT!!!!!!! LEMME HEAR YOU MAKE SOME NOIIISSEEE!!!!!!”

3. what’s your favourite line(s) you’ve written in one of your stories.

hmm theres been a few that i like, but recently its gotta be two out of Shinya's Pirate au snippet:

'How can a heartless man feel heartache for something he doesn’t deserve? Why does my heart yearn for a feeling I have lost?'

and

'Is it life? Love? To be cared for? The things I no longer feel?

Or is it three feet away from me, retching into a bucket and shivering from cold?'

7. where do you draw inspiration from the most? (books, images, songs, movies, etc...)

Uhh mostly listening to music and pacing around, the ideas just kinda pop out of nowhere usually- but a lot of the time just movies and musicals/music tends to give me the most inspiration!

12. do you prefer to read your own writing style over others’? why or why not?

Hmm, I don't have a preference. I don't read as much as I'd like to say I do, but every different style has different things that make them enjoyable to read!

I also don't think I've written enough to really have a style/recognise a style in my writing so there's also that lol /lh

13. what’s one concept that you really would like to write but feel like you wouldn’t do it justice?

ooooooohhhh thats a good question- there are a few things that i would love to write but don't think i could write well enough for it but thats just generally-

Though... hm.... perhaps certain types of whump and also horror that I really enjoy thinking up but don't think I'd do justice to actually writing it-
