Material Research 12: Gilding seedpods with silver foil/silver leaf (as an alternative to pewter castings of seedpods)
Applied using water-based glue
Later scrapped in favour of sturdier pewter sculptures (more of which are cast later) fixed onto a branch

The two newest additions to my growing collection. And just like the others (art of war, hemingway, douglas adams, frank herbert, shakespeare, verne, grimm, poe, lovecraft, and now homer and dante) they are hardbound and the page edges are gilded in gold (some are silver).
