I’ve been slightly obsessed about taking pictures of my comics for my website. Got a new phone holder to act as a camera stand. Just need to fix the lighting issue but overall I’m really pleased. My aim is to Capture the tactile and analog nature of physical comics.

Published in May, 1966, it’s one of the few Ditko Spideys in my collection. It’s in pretty good shape other than a missing ad page, which explains why I was able to afford it all those years ago.

Alright, Silver-Age Marvel, there is something called the Willing Suspension of Disbelieve, and you broke mine with this one from a Giant-Man and Wasp story.
Also for the record, there are no muscles in the fingers, they’re in the hand and wrist and move the fingers with tendons.
From Doom Patrol # 95, 1964, dealing with Animal-Vegetable-Mineral Man was just a distraction from the main weirdness going on that issue. The Doom Patrol WAS the Silver-Age.
Did Captain Flash spark the Silver-Age?
"Imaginary Story" by Jerry Siegel and Kurt Schaffenberger from Superman's Girlfriend Lois Lane #'s 64 and 65, 1966, in which Lex Luthor is a Liberace like pianist who is secretly a socialist Robin Hood super thief known as Lexo (really, Lexo? that's your secret identity?) Later he turns Lois evil and tragedy ensues.
Damn it socialism.
