"Henry, I'm bored..."
"And I suppose you think it is my obligation to entertain you then?" I offered with the hint of a crooked smile.
Hello, darling.

"Henry, I'm bored..."
"And I suppose you think it is my obligation to entertain you then?" I offered with the hint of a crooked smile.
Hello, darling.
"Henry, I... I'm in a mood..."
"And what mood might that be, darling?"
"Do not ever flatter yourself, Henry. I never loved you." It was a statement she had come to grips with. Positive of it now. "/No one/ could."
"I never flatter about that which I care not to possess. To have that of your love would be a bloody nightmare, indeed. "
"I hate you!" she called after him. She hated that he could warp her words, change her intentions. She did not love, could not. He was a bastard, selfish. And why she continued to come back to him, she had no idea. It was not love. It couldn't be. To love one such as he... she shivered in disgust, before disappearing by her own means with her magic.
"Excuse me?" she said indignantly. "I never once have asked you to change. I have not bowed to you as all of the other women that come to cross your path do. Perhaps you simply mistake my actions in that respect for expecting you to be some white knight. I /know/ what you are! I never asked you to be anything different. I simply told you what I think of you."
"Have you not?" I sneered, the only thing said before I stormed off, muling over with no shortage of anger every instance within my mind in which her intentions were so blatantly displayed. There is a grave difference, you see, between merely attempting to change a single attribute upon someone’s person- and even that is detestable in itself- but she would wish that of my soul to be different, I knew, for me to be capable of the love she craved.
"Care to elaborate on /that/, Henry? Or is that too /personal/ as well?" she asked, throwing his comeback from earlier back in his face.
"Do not think that I am ignorant of your ridiculous compulsion to save me, to right the wrongs of my nature in a manner that would seek only to appease that of your own designs."
"You thought me so naive that I did not know what a bastard you are?" She let out a humorless laugh. "No. I knew along, darling. And no. You do not scare me with your threats. If I am a whore for being touched against my will by you, then I suppose that is what I am. Do not punish those who have the capacity to be good simply because you lost that quality so long ago."
"I think you more naïve than you could possibly imagine."
"A choice influenced by /you/. But no matter. I care not. Just know that you make me sick."
"Do I make you sick, hm? Do I cause your flesh to quiver and roll in that of its disgust?" My voice darkened then, "Good. Perhaps you have finally fully acknowledged that there is nothing redeemable in that of my nature. Now, kindly leave before I lose my patience, girl." I offered that of a callous sort of sneer, blatant in both its disdain and its arrogance, "Unless, of course, you would prefer to stay- to be reminded that you, too, are that of my whore- mine to do with as I please."
