12. Tell about a WIP you're excited about!

Ooh gladly! Right now I've been focusing (some) of my energies on the sort-of-historical vampire Wesker au!! Leon is his new groundskeeper... but it's weird that he seems to be the only staff member on the grounds?? How strange!

Of course, Lord Wesker is attractively intimidating enough that Leon isn't thinking of that too often. Plus, the cute, muscular gardener Chris that works there and seems a little guarded but charming... not to mention willing to make out against a trellis in the garden 🤭

Surely there's nothing strange going on... right? Man, his neck kinda hurts. Maybe he hurt it in his sleep ;)

16. Any guilty pleasure tropes?

I won't be too explicit, but I like a little science-y medical-y smut every now and then ;) maybe a little experiment or something idk. Put that man in some fucked up crazy situation pleeeease ☺️

I don't usually write it, but I do definitely indulge in writing just regular detailed medical fic!! It's also still a bit of a guilty pleasure with how much I enjoy it whaha 😭

18. Wildest fic you've ever written?

Hmmm... good question! I've got a Wesker tentacle thing in the works (heh) somewhere but honestly it's nothing crazy when I go back to 'Awake' and reread the surgery bits 😳 I went crazy with that one and it's delicious! Anyway. Pretty fucked up situation, and even I was surprised how graphic it was upon going back to look over it again 😭😭

Of course, now that the threshold has been crossed, I'd be much less daunted to write something similarly brutal. We'll seeeee 🥰

I love a good fever, but one of my other faves is voice loss and like voice cracking, especially if they are required to speak a lot for one reason or another, and it is not something I see a lot around here !

I don’t really like stomach stuff/emeto? I don’t mind it and don’t necessarily avoid it (especially given our significant overlap with that community) , but it’s not something I actively seek out

Metaltango apocalypse au? 👁👁

this is another one i haven't yet properly started but like... Leon wakes up in a bunker, with Krauser. he's pissed and confused and why the hell is Krauser alive he's been dead for decades and then Leon is all "You can't keep me here." and marches outside only to realize that yeah the world is gone as he knew it lol. so he misses the entire apocalypse knocked out :'D but yeah he won't know anything about Krauser's motives and if he was somehow partially responsible for what happened and in general there'll be a lot of mistrust and confused feelings and so. y'know, like in metaltango usually lol.

5. What's the fic you're most proud of?

Ohhh hmmm! Let me take a look haha 😭

Probably Chemical!!! I'm pretty proud of most of my fics, but there's just something about that one that really clicked. It was actually one of the very first fic ideas I'd had, way back in like 2022 (good god...) and it was a little different in the original iteration, since I'd ONLY played re2r at the time. I picked it up again a little while ago and it just kinda spun itself tbh and I was happy that people enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed writing it!! One of my faves for sure :)

29. Have you ever gone outside of your comfort zone for a fic? How did it turn out?

I think yes! Glasshouse has been my enemy ever since I started writing it, and while I love the multimedia aspects of it, I really struggle with the plot and wrangling all the little elements that need to be included for things to unravel properly 😭

I think it's okay, so far, but I've definitely stalled a little on the next chapters and I feel like it's getting a bit run down. Any longfic is very much outside my comfort zone--I prefer short and sweet, tyvm. Both in fics I read, and the fics I write, cuz most of the ideas I have are one shot--so I have a few more similar long ones that are really daunting to me. I'll keep working at it!
