the thing is, what i describe in that post isnt even a soiree!!! or like, i was under the assumption that a soiree is something that the students themselves organize, thats how it was at my high school. usually organized immediately after the boy-girl interaction day because we all decided "THAT SUCKED" and somebody was kind enough to volunteer their house as a venue for some hanging out that does no involve any teachers checking that theres SPACE FOR THE HOLY SPIRIT inbetween all the teens
