Omg Silv i too am tied to my calendar as i cannot for the life of me keep track of the day or date ever. Twice i was doing something and had to check my calendar for the date, twice on my own birthday. I think this skill is lost??? And if the calendar is wrong all hope is also lost LOL. ohhhh thank you I love hold this thread so so SO much. here goes:

1. Full disclosure, I haven’t used nipple clamps so I had to research how to use them and I came across the series of videos with a woman who I think worked in a store that sold the product she was talking about. So I was pretty meticulous about the info I got from her, making sure it was all included. I had a group of friends reading along with me, and they mainly held my hand and told me I was doing amazing, and then my work friend proofread the final draft for me when it was done. And he asked me kind of tentatively if I was open to feedback, since we had discussed just edits, right? PLEASE, I’M ALL EARS. So he’s the one who told me that it might hurt when you remove them because the blood rushes back and I had to go in and add that a couple of places and read again for continuity and he felt bad but I was like NO I NEED ALL THE ACCURACY.

15: Tell me five things you love about your best friend. 

FIVE IS SO FEW.... OKAY. We’ve known each other for a long time and we have all the stupidest inside jokes from like 6 years ago that neither of us can really remember the context for but they literally make me cry laughing. They make Merciless fun of me when I deserve it and they’re like, one of the only ppl on Earth who can do it in a way that doesn’t make me super self conscious. They’re a couple years younger than me and when we met and became friends it was sort of a wake up call for me to like, get my shit together and be a grownup and more of a role model for them, which was really good for both of us during kind of a messed up time in our separate lives. Their family literally became my family, like I know if something crazy happened and I had nobody left to turn to their family would get me out of whatever situation and help me get myself back together. And! They have the cutest best cats on EARTH including my cats honestly. 

11. Tell me about a gig you loved, for that matter tell me about three of them. 

a. ok so i mentioned in the last set of asks that i spent a summer following motion city soundtrack on tour, and like. i was living in new york at the time, so i went to all the east coast gigs and then a road trip out to the midwest for a few dates, and then much later in the summer they swung back around and played one random show in new jersey at this middle of nowhere iconic venue called starland. and everybody i had met at all the east coast gigs all coalesced at this one last hurrah at starland ballroom and it was incredible, i made so many friends and we had such a good time and made so many memories ;~; 

b. when i was still in undergrad i saw punch brothers - theyre this sorta proggy bluegrassy chamber music indie type..... thing??? - anyway i saw them for the first time on the heels of their record “who’s feeling young now?” and it just like, blew my mind to see that kind of musicianship outside of the classical music i was studying by day. it was also shortly after levon helm died and they unplugged their instruments and brought them down into the audience to do an un-amplified rendition of the weight which made me Cry!! 

c. i was fortunate enough to see Yes on their last tour before chris squire died, in a beautiful little theater with a friend of mine. i was like, Going Thru It at the time and really clinging to a couple of Yes pieces (idk how to explain my Yes thing, suffice it to say i’m ao3 user heartofthesunrise for a reason) and hearing them live at a time when i badly needed to be reminded of truth and beauty was deeply healing :’0

22. Have you ever lost a possession? What happened?

well. lol. i moved like six months ago and never finished unpacking, so i have lost many, many possessions. the one that is currently the most troubling to me is the charging cord for my vacuum. i have not been able to vacuum since it died, and it’s stressing me out!! and i have no idea where it could possibly be packed!!!

6. Describe your commute to work/school?

much shorter than it used to be, thanks to the aforementioned move! depending on how early or late i am running, i sometimes have to wait for a schoolbus on my way out of the neighborhood. i only hit three traffic lights on my way to work, but i have to make a left at each one of them, and they are very, very slow lights. so depending on how the timing works out, i either zip right through them or i get stuck forever, slowly growing more and more anxious about whether i will make it to work on time lol. i order a coffee from the starbucks app before i leave my apartment, and making the lefts into the shopping center and parking and running inside to grab it probably takes about a third of my total commute time. once i get past all the traffic lights, it’s just a bunch of crazy back roads with lots of hills and trees, and it’s pretty and i like it :)
