jamilla i just wanted to let you know i made a delicious potato and leek soup on the weekend that I'm gonna be having for lunches all week and I'm sitting at my desk like 🤤 thinking of soup in my future. have you had any nice soups this winter?

That honestly sounds soo good. As you know i have Le's famous chilli in my recipe book, and winter favourite that i am so excited to whip out in the coming months. Would you do me the honour of sharing your soup recipe, that i may perhaps have 2 famous Le recipes in my book 👀

i actually had a really fantastic soup for my lunches last week! I tried this Curry Chicken Noodle Soup and it was so so so yum. I used green curry paste rather than yellow curry powder because i had some on hand 10/10! In the grand scheme of things, i actually don't eat a tonne of soup, but the ones i love i really love 💗

actually i think Inej is the first person Wylan tells about his father trying to kill him. i think in the weeks after ck before Inej leaves there’s an evening when Jesper is gone and it’s just Wylan and Inej, and they sit and talk. and i think Inej tells him about Van Eck almost breaking her legs and confesses that she wasn’t sure Kaz would save her if he had. i think Wylan tells her that she didn’t see what Kaz was like, and that even if he hadn’t wanted to save her Jesper and Nina and Matthias and him would’ve come up with something to get her out. i think Inej tells Wylan his father is awful and he apologizes and she tells him to never apologize for something someone else did. i think she tells him the Suli phrase for sorry and reminds him that he can’t promise an action he isn’t responsible for will have no echo. i think she says she can’t imagine growing up with someone like that and Wylan admits, with tears in his eyes, that Van Eck tried to kill him. i think Inej hugs him and tells him he deserved better and Wylan cries and he thanks her. i think they talk about Inej’s plan to sail and kill slavers and Wylan swears that he’ll help her however she needs. i think they talk and talk and talk and talk, and Jesper comes home to them curled up on the couch together, fast asleep.

developing the hots for ryan gosling because of project hail mary is so fucking embarrassing I swear to god. that is a conventionally attractive man. a noted hollywood heartthrob. he's even blond, are you kidding me? did he win people magazine's sexiest man alive? I don't know. I'm not going to check but it wouldn't surprise me at this point. it's such a mainstream taste. such a clichéd celebrity crush. like oh I fancy ryan gosling and my favourite drink is coca-cola and my favourite snack is ready salted crisps. jesus christ. 'b-b-but i only like him when he's in a science pun tshirt and playing a dorky-awkward loner type!' doesn't matter. he's still ryan 'ken from barbie' gosling. it's so trite. I feel like the weird nerd girl in a teen coming-of-age romcom falling for the super popular jock. don't I know that I have a reputation to uphold here? cringe.
