Something smells sooo incredible that it's kind of hard to pay attention to whatever is going on on the screen. It's like warm buttery perfection! Tina looks around and finds the source of the deliciousness right next to her. Some guy with a big tub of that popped corn!

She doesn't ask. She doesn't think. She simply reaches over and grabs a whole handful to shove right in her mouth. "Mmm!" Her voice is muffled as she chomps down on the treat. "This is totally bussin'!"

Quickly, she shoves a flower at him. If she gives him a flower in return then she can't get accused of just stealing food because it's a trade. :blobthink:

[ CHAMPAGNE ] - And from one of the finest bottles Adrestia has to offer. No student is allowed more than a single glass, and it looks classier to swirl it before it’s empty.

"Seth! It is quite lovely to see you, I hope you are enjoying the festivities!" She offers a bright smile to one of Renais' best knights as she approaches him by the drinks table. "I am overjoyed I am able to see you and Eirika more often now."

She reaches for one of the champagne glasses, but decides to take out a lily first. "It would be quite remiss of me to not offer a flower trade with a trusted ally." She laughs, putting the flower into Seth's bouquet, before taking one of his own lilies for herself.

Having done so, she takes a glass of champagne, moving it around a bit as she gazes inside.

"This is the one allotted glass I get, so I do hope you feel honoured that I am choosing to have it in your company." She chuckles. "I could complain about how the princess of a nation is being limited to a paltry one glass of champagne, but I digress." She sighs rather theatrically. Not that she particularly cares to consume much more, but it does make her feel like she is being seen as a measely brat instead of the magnificent banisher of monsters that she is.

Still, grumbling shall only spoil the mood. She holds out her glass so that Seth can clink his together.

"To a bright future for every Magvelian. And for me to win the White Heron Cup!" She says with a smile; one wish for their land, and one wish for herself, a perfect balance.

Seth smiles at his brother-in-law, holding a hand out to firmly clasp his forearm. "It seems like you fared well during arena! I didn't have any doubts." Ephraim was a skilled man and it only became more clear after every battle he fought. His training was paying off, as well as what he's learned at the academy so far. Definitively, the general does not know the extent of what the other's learned before he and Eirika both arrived but it appeared he has continued to use his time wisely. "Are you happy with what you were able to accomplish?"

Seth may not have doubts, but Ephraim feels as if he is sorely out of practice. Still, he takes Seth's forearm in a firm grip and grins.

"I am far from satisfied, but I'll only be so when my skill grows even greater."

Despite how he feels, he's not worried. There will be plenty of opportunities to continue to hone his skill. Especially so now that Seth and Eirika have arrived.

"I am only unhappy that you didn't participate. I hope to see you and my sister out on the field next time. Perhaps you can convince her. She always brushes me off."

"Forde!" Seth waves, breaking into a jog to approach the younger man with a small smile on his face. "Apologies I've just only gotten the chance to greet you now but I'm glad to see that you're well!"

"I can see you've improved quite a bit since you've left Renais." The sword he had been using in Arena had clearly been Eirika's and the outfit he had been wearing... Seth had nearly done a double take when he saw it, and he'd spent a moment questioning whether or not Forde had been wearing her exact dress, or the illusory magic was just that accurate. "Did-- Did you pick your outfit for the last round or no?"

"General Seth, it's an honour to see you again, I-" His delight at seeing Seth again is quickly overwritten by the horror that Seth had seen him. "You- you were watching my battle, Sir? I didn't know you could do that."

Though Forde felt no shame in wearing Queen Eirika's armour or her wedding dress in the heat of the moment, now he was face to face with his lady's husband... he could feel the heat rising to his cheeks. Who else had been watching his battle? Ephraim had been fighting, but where had Eirika been? Nowhere near the spectator's gallery, he hoped.

"I- I didn't pick my outfits. I just ended up in them..." A pause. "Please don't tell their majesties about this."

Seated across from her husband, Eirika wonders if he'll play along with her little act. She fights the broad smile that threatens to overtake her features into a more neutral one.

"Oh, a good day to you, sir. I am Eirika, it is a pleasure to meet you. Are you enjoying the tea and company? Yours is by far the most pleasant company I've had the pleasure to entertain."

Noticing his empty cup, she takes the opportunity to lift the tea pot and refill his with the aromatic, amber liquid. Not a drop spills. "Something tells me that an afternoon of tea with you would hardly be enough time to get to know you as much as I wish to. Perhaps we could have dinner together as well?"

She keeps up the act of pretending to not know him as she sets the tea pot down and relaxes in her seat. They've had so many firsts since coming here. Their first home together, most notably. Not a castle with a dozen servants waiting on them. Just a home. Their home. They must cook their own meals and make their own bed and clean their own messes. And she treasures every moment of it because it is by his side.

Eirika would not lie that she has wondered how their first meeting might have gone if she were not royalty or he not a knight. Would they have acted sooner on their feelings? Or would they have never progressed? This play pretend is no true answer to that, but she hopes that he will indulge her, if only a little.
