“Pasta, no problem. Grilled cheese? Killer. I, however have not mastered the art of s’more making” the blonde sighed as she plucked the sticky marshmallow residue off the ends of her fingers.
“Look- I’m a little drunk and I’m a little half-naked. The least you could do is get your ass in here with me.”
Claire was now walking through the woods, after decisively grabbing her bow and arrow and setting out. She had vague memories of coming out here and practicing her archery back when she was younger and just starting out. After she found a spot she liked that wouldn’t get anyone killed, she put her gear on and loaded her bow. Suddenly, she heard footsteps behind her and she quickly turned to point her bow and arrow at the source of the noise. “So, did you wake up today and decide, ‘I’m gonna sneak up on a girl with a bow and arrow in her hands, great idea me, high five’,” She asked sarcastically, still aiming at the person, “Or was it just impulse?”
Charlie dug around in her purse, grabbing the pack of cigarettes and taking one out. She placed it between her lips and dug around a bit more, trying to find a lighter. Realizing she left it at home, she rolled her eyes and glanced at the person a few feet away, taking the cigarette out of her mouth and holding it between two fingers, “Do you have a lighter?”
“No — you can’t make me get up, I don’t wanna get out of bed. My blanket is my friend and it is keeping me very warm. You can either choose to join me or get out. If you choose the latter of the two please bring back pancakes when you finally decide to join me.”
“That damn woman, each and every time...” Lilith cursed under her breath, while she was frantically looking for something in one of the many bags her mother had prepared. Shaking her head slightly, she took a sip from her drink and hastily turned around. By doing so, she spilled the drink on the person she seemed to have also bumped in. “Oh my God...!” She stared with her mouth wide open, not believing what she just happened. Blinking, she tried to recover and was thinking of an apology, which came out the wrong way when she said it. “Are you fucking sorry now?” She stared in shock yet again, not believing she actually just insulted someone she spilled her drink on. At least, her tone sounded somehow sorry.
“This place is so small. How does anyone get anything done?”
“If I could drop a mic for finally finishing unpacking, I would, but instead I’ll settle for this.”
