So. I might have shouted at a boy in my class

This boy, who isn’t in our class, randomly came in at lunch and started throwing a football around. He was annoying all of the girls. And he didn’t stop for 30 minutes. I was eating my rice and chicken, trying to ignore this pesky boy and enjoy my tumblr scrolling. WHEN

This boy, hits my friend in the face with his football and slams shut my school computer in one kick, almost breaking it.

Now, I’m very quiet in breaks, I talk with my friend (who I.l just call Jewel) I read my books and eat my lunch quietly. He obviously thought I was just gonna take it.

But instead, me and my 145cm of height stood up, glared at him, and yelled. “Get out of our class. You dumb fuck.”

He stumbles back a little bit. A look of stupid surprise on his face.

He hasn’t gone near me afterwards :)

Happy Early New Years Everyone! ! !

I can’t believe this year is over. In 2022, I had moved to a new country, was learning a new language in the reception class, was having horrible anxiety and burn out. And was being horribly bullied and gaslit by one of my first friends ever. Who had pretended to apologize multiple times and lovebombed me so many times I could not tell I was being abused. It went on for my first 4 months at my new school.

It had also been the first time I was ever in a school. Since I had been homeschooled since age 6.

I wanted so desperately to be liked. To be part of the crowd. That I left behind my clothing style, my hobbies, and tried to be like everyone else.

Eventually I decided I was happier as myself. And I was so bullied by everyone.

“You’re not mixed race. You’re so weird. Why do you have such strange hobbies. Why are you so short.”

I was so miserable that some days I couldn’t get out of bed, and cried every day before going to school.

If I could go back and tell the Silver of 2022 how much better 2023 would be. I would. I would tell her how wonderful my year has been. How I have friends now, good ones. That I am going to be permanently in my school’s regular class. That I have embraced myself and am feeling better than ever.

2023 was the year of healing for me. And I am so hopeful that 2024 will maybe be okay too.

An actual conversation I had with my friends

(during a social studies class)

(I'm gonna call them Jewel and Arnold)

Me: Why are there gender expectations anyway.

Arnold: Old people are scared of change, and they don’t want to stray away from tradition. Thats why boys must like the color blue

Me; actually Arnold until 1930s pink was the color for boys and blue for girls in western society

Arnold: that's because they didn't have enough red color so they can only have pink, and blue was the closest to purple before the color purple was invented ;) and also there were way more colorblind people until 1932, after the Great Colorblind Annihilation, most colorblind people died out and the colors were switched

Me: Your explanation of purple is dumb and stupid and purple dye has existed since the roman empire times you dumb fuck (affectionate)

Arnold; didnt they make purple from grapes

Me: No Romanic purple came from a type of sea snail. It was such an important resource that violet dyed cloth was worth more than gold.

Arnold: blue is actually made from recycling jeans

Me: I wont answer that. *bonks him on head with my notebook*

Jewel: *Laughs hysterically*
