Silverspot and Burnet the SilkWings
How about Burnet and Silverspot? There’s so little art of them </3
burnet and silverspot, extremely mid parent extraordinaires! i love designing dragons with little to no visual description so i can go completely hogwild. burnet is based on the five-spot burnet moth and silverspot... idk lmao i wanted to mix luna moth with silverspot butterfly and just went batshit instead
Day 126- SilverSpot
Despite it all, I have a soft spot for Blue and his family
Headcanon timeee:
Silverspot’s name is short for Callippe Silverspot! It’s one of many more official names for them. Here are some pictures of Callippe Silverspots just because they are SO PRETTY:
Also, they’re fritillary butterflies, so naturally, I’m assuming she and Fritillary were friends at one point but fell out and that’s why Admiral and Fritillary hate each other so much. Maybe Fritillary saw a little bit of Silverspot in Blue too, and that’s why he was so willing to help him.
My hidden fashion secret? Mixing patterns. Go ahead, be daring!
Oregon Silverspot (Speyeria zerene hippolyta)

Wings of Fire designs #14, Silverspot.
I have very few thoughts on Silverspot and Burnet. I just like that Blue and Luna have two moms and it's totally casual. I love how WoF handles gay pairings by just having them exist and be normal, as opposed to making a big deal out of it or pointing them out in particular.
