alright bucko I'm back with some questions about silver!! how exactly did she lose her arm? and how did camahueto become her new arm? did she take the new addition well?

silverwind never really “lost” her arm, in the same sense i’m sure filila still had hair before Samson replaced it.

unfortunately, skullgirls canon never really gives us anything about how people like….first come across or encounter parasites. i’m hesitant to give this a concrete answer since i don’t really have any definite angle to come at it from.

but, the general scenario is this:after annie thrashed her first couple attempts at getting the skull heart, silver withdrew from directly pursuing it and spent a good while doing a lot of travelling, looking for whatever oddball artifacts may be able to help out, [the sg universe certainly has a lot of weird magic bullshit floating around in it, so there’s got to be something out there she can use, right?] it was during this general time of wandering and exploration and poking around god knows where that she came across camahueto.

i’d like to believe someone getting a parasite is usually a willing agreement or exchange from both parties. she agreed to let camahueto become her arm, probably just with the thought/intent he’d make her stronger and give her an edge at getting the heart. the specifics of how all that works, well.. it’s not stuff i’ve done much speculation on yet.

anyway, in saying that, she...definitely did not take very well to having him at first. she kinda thought he’d be more like a tool to use at her leisure than this whole other Person with their own desires and inputs that’s now with her at all times. [given the stigma on them, i doubt the laymen knows much about parasites] silverwind is terribly hard-headed; it’s damn near impossible to change her mind once she has it made up about something, and she really doesn’t take well to people opposing her goals. they grated on eachother real bad for the first...oh, year or so, but she eventually mellowed out a little and started like. actually listening and trying to cooperate. these days they do get along most of the time.

most of the time. he can still be annoying with his chattiness on occasion :p

I don't know how much thought you've put into a specific moveset for Silverwind but I think I would be really neat if Camahueto held on to the glove when the tendrils separate. That way it can always go back on when necessary and it would be kinda funny for them to use it like they did in old 1900s films and slap an enemy in the face with just the glove!

as it happens i have put quite a lot of thought into that :3c i’m by no means doing a Full moveset because that’s just way too many, but Someday™ i’ll get this finished and posted…..someday.

the stuff with the glove is just kinda. whatever happens with it happens. like when he inverts it just kind of Goes In There and then it’s There again; like how beo and val pull a lot of their stuff out of nowhere and then it just sorta..goes back behind them and vanishes in the cooldown frames of the animation. there are gonna be a few w/ his tendrils separated [probably aerial grab?] and i do like this idea for what to do with it; only other thing i got really is just having silver take it on/off him, which is..less efficient. plus a simple glove slap might be a fun counterbalance to her generally Very Heavy moves; if silverwind is gonna hit you, she’s gonna hit you HARD, but hueto may not always be so heavy-handed :p

#i will tell u now though that all the moves now are either #A: done 100% just to look cool #or B: based on stuff in the mythos of the camahueto #also imaa keep it real with u chief.#i dont know the first thing about old movies or cowboy movies in general really #i don't actually like cowboy stuff much in general tbh #but there are always exceptions to rulres #silverwind stuff #Anonymous
