It had been a few days after a demon has attacked him and kyrie, Nero was bed ridden for the time being and so was she while their wounds healed, but...his wounds.

Where the least of his problems.

He had gotten injured by the shoulder blade on this right side, and its been burning down his whole limb since last night, right now he was feeling the tough skin along that arm when he heard a knock and pulled the covers up to hide it.

It had been only a week since the elder son of Sparda had been able to arrive once more into the human world. After discussing his new founded partnership with Dante and getting everything in order. He knew what he had to do next.

Go to Fortuna to see his son.

“This can only go terribly....” Vergil muttered under his breath. Walking towards the home he knew Nero stayed in. Considering his last time here.... this was incredibly awkward to say the least.

“Nooope, nope, nope, nope.”

Nico was being rather moody and stubborn at the moment. She cared very deeply about her merchandise, and was unfortunate to see Nero blowing one of those arms up. It went without saying that she was going to be upset.

“I am not talkin’ to you right now. Throwing a beautiful masterpiece like that away. Do you know the hours I put into making those? Do you-- nope, not talking to you.”

 A small, soft, gasp escaped Nero as he felt Kyrie’s fingers trace the curve of his ear.  As the couple had begun to live together, slowly, but surely, the pair had discovered special traits and quirks each of them had.  For one thing Kyrie had not only learned that Nero couldn’t cook to save his life, but one day while playing with his hair she had managed to find one of his more dubious secrets, his sensitive ears.  

 Cheeks tinged as soft shade of pink as he felt how the tip of her nail trailed down his sensitive flesh.  Though, his initial reaction would have been to smack the offending hand away and cover his ear, he endured her teasing.  Looking away, he covered his mouth with the back of his hand, stifling what could have been a soft moan.  Though, certainly, the smirk that played on her lips had not gone unnoticed.  

“Having fun?” Nero joked, turning to look to Kyrie again, clearly flustered.  

Kyrie does not bother hiding her gleeful look from poor, bashful Nero. Large smile and eyes widened in absolute surprise, she only leans closer to his lounging frame with the childish eagerness to continue and see what else could make the male fluster so cutely. 

“I am,” admits the woman with a few excited nods before finally resting her cheek against his arm. Before she reaches up to touch his ear again, though, she just wants to make sure, “Is this alright with you?” While she trusts that Nero would immediately voice out his discomfort or irritation over her actions, Kyrie still wants verbal confirmation. The last thing she wants is to cause him unease.

"Well, hello sleeping beauty. This is no time to be taking a nap," Nero grinned, sauntering up before noticing V hadn't reacted to his quip. "Hey, are you alive? V?" He crouched down, grasping the slender man's shoulder. -Silxerbullet- //for the sensory deprivation

V straightened as soon as he felt someone touch him, jerking to the side to try to escape whoever it may be. His eyes were open but unfocused as he scrambled back. He was panicked, truly unlike the calm and reserved man he usually presented himself as. 

“Calm down, calm down!” Griffon complained as V almost fell into him. He knew V couldn’t hear him but he wasn’t one to shut up. He gripped V’s arm in his claws, gently, to remind him that he was there. 

“Pretty easily spooked, isn’t he?” The avian looked to Nero. “He’s real pitiful like this. He can’t see you, or hear you.”

Domestic Life

Kyrie hummed a song to herself as she was walking through the townhouse she and Nero owned, cleaning and dusting and whatever else struck her fancy, even laundry. Food was cooking in the oven and she knew when Nico and Nero got back from their hunting job they would really enjoy having something warm in their bellies. A day off from the Orphanage didn’t mean she had a day off, but that was fine with her. Her chores she could do at her leisure, which made all the difference. 

She had just started singing the song as she came back into the living room from the laundry room, having just put the wet clothes into the dryer. That would take about an hour to finish, which gave her time to tidy up Nero’s gaming items, from his controller to some open boxes where she even made sure to locate his game disks if they were missing. As she was putting them in the cupboard under the TV that doubled as a monitor, she felt strong arms wrap around her waist and she cooed as she leaned back, “Nero! Welcome home!” she turned her head enough to rub her cheek against his in a nuzzle.

Guardian

Vergil was not suited for fatherhood. At least that was what he told himself, even as he watched over his son from afar. He had done so since his birth. It was the perfect balance of keeping his distance to protect the boy from everything he was and everyone who would do him harm, even through his child, and protecting Nero as a father should. 

He practiced the latter when the curious child reached out to pet a frightened stray and Vergil swept him up in one arm to spare his tiny hand a massive bite. Calmly, he set him back down out of the reach of the canine. 

Honestly, why was he allowed outside alone?

Blood Ties and Blood Spilled

Sparda’s head was still spinning at all the changes the world has experienced. He had seen changes changes in the mortal world before but now it was drastic. But even more disturbing is what he heard of hell gates opening. He fortunately soon found them closed but there were pockets of demons hiding out near where the hell gates had opened. He needed to remove them.

As he walked down the shadowed streets seeking out a few reported demons he could hear fighting. The sound was faint but not too far away. He just needed to take a shortcut.

With a quick kick off he jumped up onto the nearby building and made his way across the rooftops. And soon he came to a stop, down below a figure with a sword and gun fighting a rather large nest of demons.
