Hello, I love your blog with all its lovely gifs, thankyou for making these for us all to enjoy. Do you have, or know of a list, of episodes of Scrapheap Challenge that have Sim on them? IMDB is not much help. It's an ok show but I just don't have the time or inclination to watch every episode of it. Thanks so much if you can help.

Sim only appeared on three episodes of Scrapheap Challenge: s4e11- Hydrofoil, s5e11- Destroyer, and s7e9- Landing Craft. I believe he spent a lot of time working behind the scenes as well, but you don’t see him on camera for other episodes. He also worked on the spin off Scrapheap Challenge- Scrappy Races, but again he stayed in the background and though you can catch a glimpse of him here and there imo it’s not worth it to try and dig up the episodes, then scrutinize them for the 3 frames he might appear in, lol.

So corellatal sent me a kindly ask complimenting my gifs (man it’s been a while! Might go make some more...) and asking about what episodes of Scrapheap Challenge Sim was on. So I wrote up a nice response then accidentally clicked queue instead of post and tumblr appears to have eaten it, so here we go again!
Sim only appeared in 3 episodes of Scrapheap Challenge: s4e11-Hydrofoil, s5e11- Destroyer, and s7e9- Landing Craft. I believe he also worked as an engineering consultant behind the scenes a lot, but those are the only episodes we actually see him in.

I do believe I know what’s happened to Sim Oakley. He’s living here in NS under an assumed name and demoing/fixing up an old house out here in the country.
Not really...but I’m doing census form delivery in the area and today, spoke with a young man who is living with 4 other people (don’t know if it’s his family or what as I don’t need to know that so don’t ask) in a half destroyed old farmhouse, with chickens free ranging.
As I was walking back to my car, I was wondering who the dude made me think of and I realised it was Sim--not twins, but they could be siblings/cousins as this guy was taller and thinner (and younger!). Dude’s name wasn’t Sim. Or Oakley.
Sadly, I haven’t found James May...or his look a like....
