Olivia: ... then I dropped about 6 eggs on the floor! It was a disaster!
Eugenio laughs: Wow. You weren’t kidding!
Olivia: Yeah, I’m afraid The Queen may have started to regret to agree to show me how to make her special Pastel de Camarão.
Eugenio laughs: No, no. My mother loves that sort of thing! A lot more fun than schmoozing at some charity banquet, that’s for sure. I know she’s enjoyed seeing your skills improved.
Olivia: Really? That’s great. I really do love it. I hope to do it professionally.
Eugenio: You should. You certainly have a natural talent for it.
Olivia: Thank you. So, what do you like to do, Eugenio?
Eugenio: Well, I’ve been really into fitness lately. I’ve taken on some patrons around it and hope to do even more when I become King.
Olivia: That sounds amazing, Eugenio. I’m sure Selvadoradians would follow your lead.
Eugenio smiles: Thanks, Olivia.
Waiter: Here’s your food, enjoy.
Eugenio laughs: If only I could set a better example with less empanadas.
Olivia laughs: They are hard to resist!
Eugenio: So... Olivia. I’m having a really lovely time with you, but I feel like I need to be honest with you...
Eugenio: I think you’re an amazing woman and I’m really glad we’re spending time together, but you must know... my heart belongs to another.
Eugenio: I’m really sorry...
Olivia: No, don’t be! I’m sorry I wasn’t aware...
Eugenio: Oh, don’t worry. No one knows of this relationship...
Olivia: Oh, I see... Do you mind me asking, why no one knows?
Eugenio: Well, the truth is, she is a not of royal or noble blood. She is a commoner I met while at University. I love her deeply, but sadly, due to my responsibility to the throne, no one would ever agree for me to marry someone who’s not brought up in this life.
Olivia: Oh, Eugenio... I’m so sorry.
Eugenio: Thanks, Olivia. And especially now with my sister about to have another child to a foreign noble and my Aunt with a SimDonian ambassador... it’s just more pressure on me to marry someone with status.
Olivia: Right... the ambassador. You know, it’s kind of funny in a terribly sad way. That we’re both here for the same reason.
Olivia: Yes, my parents want the same thing for me. Although, it’s not exactly what I want...
Eugenio chuckles: Ah... then, you’re right. That is terribly sad.
Olivia: Well, I am having a great time with you regardless.
Eugienio: Me, too. You know, maybe this is a sign that we should just go for what we want.
Eugenio: Yes. Hearing you speak about you situation makes me want to see you get exactly what you want. Then I think, “well, why shouldn’t I?”
Olivia: You might be on to something. We both deserve to be happy. Although it might be complicated to make it happen...
Eugenio: The best things in life are rarely easy...
Olivia: You have a point there. Maybe we both need to fight for the ones we love.
