V Rod says Nastya and Aliya are preparing for Worlds.
She’s not happy with the women’s team performance at Euros and says in all likelihood Nastya and Aliya will be on the world’s team. ( if all goes to plan)
IF those two go to worlds who do you think they’ll be replacing?

I'm just starting to follow juniors as well as seniors - could you tell me which young Russians to look out for? Does Russian WAG have a bright future? Thanks :D
Sure! The future does look bright currently - not “beating the USA” bright, but certainly consistently contending for silver - but Russian juniors often flop and break hearts, so it’s impossible to predict the future. :P Anyway, here’s a list of the most promising girls sorted by the year they turn senior. I’ll include video links for the girls who aren’t easy to find on youtube. And I bolded my favs.
2017Anastasia Ilyankova - Best on UB, but shows potential to be a decent AAer. Injury-prone, though. :(
Elena Eremina - Trains under the same coaches as Nabieva, great on everything, very pretty to watch, pray for her.
Ulyana Perebinosova - Same coaches as Paseka & Seda; has some form issues but is a decent AA and has a unique bars set.
Elizaveta Kochetkova - She’s… OK. She doesn’t stand out now, but she could make major improvements in the next year. Who knows. I like her though!
2018Tier 1 - Angelina Simakova, Varvara Zubova, Alexandra ShekoldinaTier 2 - Ksenia Pekelman, Viktoria Panchuk, Valeria Saifulina, Viktoria Gorbatova, Taisia Borozydko, Kristina Osokina, Anna Subbotina
2019Ksenia Klimenko (gorgeous), Anastasia Agafonova (gorgeous & reminds me of Komova), Daria Belousova (gorgeous)
2020Irina Komnova, Arina Strukova, Olga Astafyeva, Yana Vorona
I’m sure that was more thorough than you were looking for, but I have nothing better to do right now lmao.
