the thing with cressida's whole business is that i have such a low opinion of high society i cannot understand why she doesn't wanna go with her aunt lmao

now THAT is a good point portia thank you that's a good question to raise against whistledown it is to me the one true betrayal (justified, you may think) she has continuously kept up and the one in which she shares the ton's cruelty unfairly. in the cradle of their newfound relationship, it must be worse for portia and penelope both. i kind of wish we'd had more time to explore that.

the irreconcilability of colin and cressida's situation is so laughable i am very very glad they acknowledged it textually and i think it provided a very good moment where cressida could see herself in penelope and see her suffering and cruelty reflected back to her at once, which jessica played very well, and i kind of really wish penelope and cressida had interacted enough this season for it to weigh more

i do find it very funny that they had to nerf penelope's ability to converse (something she hasn't had trouble with before) so the teaching plot could go through. there is more about being undateable besides being a fool

again i find prudence's struggles with marriage so compelling i know it's a gag but i wanna put her underneath a microscope (i love mean girls)

man he's trying so hard. i really really wish they'd expand on him trying so hard. show me a little vulnerability otherwise what's the point of this one minute scene in a brothel it's not really supposed to be horny either
