Literally I need to make so much money someday to afford to get all the genealogy stuff I want to. I found a few towns in Italy my family is from and if I just had the money to pay somebody in Italy to search the local records I could have so much more information than I do right now.
Incidentally, if any of my followers know any Italian dialects that could be understood in Casignana, Reggio di Calabria, Calabria; Simbario, Catanzaro, Calabria; Cirella, Cosenza, Calabria; Benestare, Reggio di Calabria, Calabria; Tirano, Sondrio, Lombardia; or San Martino Valle Caudina, Avellino, Campania and would be down to help translate some emails or tell me a little about these places, I’d love to talk to you! I’d pay for the translations based on what you think is fair. Once I get paid I’ll have enough to do that, just not to pay a professional genealogist in Italy.
