Sunday Afternoon in the Garden
The last few days have been beautiful, so on Saturday we put up our pool so we could cool off. We spent most of yesterday out in the garden enjoying the sunshine. Milena loved swimming about in the pool in her little life jacket. Evelyn and JJ bobbed about in their floaties. Evelyn actually liked the pool this time as before she hasn’t been too keen on the water or pools. JJ well he loves the water, he was splashing about, getting everybody in the face.
In the evening we had a barbecue. JJ and Evelyn tried their first burgers, which I made myself so I knew their wouldn’t be anything harmful in them, for them. I cut the meat up into little chunks for them as they both like eating with their fingers. Both were unsure at first but by the end they loved them. JJ was the first to properly try the burger and once Evelyn saw that he liked it she followed suit. Milena had first burger in a bun and she absolutely loved it. JJ and Evelyn also had their first taste of ice cream and let me just say they absolutely loved it. They both had their mouths open for more and they both stared at Milena while she ate her ice cream. I think they were jealous!
So that was our sunny Sunday!
