After meeting Lance Black at McArthur Square, Tom Daley was eager to get to know him. Tom attempted to contact Lance via telephone, but all he got was an out-of-service dial tone. Did Lance give him a fake phone number? Alas, no! Lance had just moved in next door and had yet to purchase a telephone line. After quickly rectifying this, it was Lance’s turn to try and get in touch with Tom. Success! Tom answered, and the beginnings of their friendship began.
Now able to call Lance, Tom invited him over on many occasions. Their friendship grew through chats, sharing meals, watching TV, and playing checkers. As their bond deepened, handshakes turned into hugs, and their time together solidified their friendship.
After becoming friends, Tom began his pursuit of Lance, initially testing the waters with some mild flirting, intimate hugs, and a cheeky peck on the cheek. This caused all manner of butterflies for Lance, who was the first to truly show his romantic intentions. Tom reciprocated his own romantic desires after a suave kiss! They both certainly enjoyed a cuddle on the couch.
