Then, as if fate had decided to reward their perseverance, a forgotten debt surfaced—an old friend finally repaid the money they had borrowed three years prior! Still, the savings grew at a snail’s pace, stretching across major milestones in their lives. The duo didn’t just build a games room in that time—they expanded their family, adopting two beautiful babies. Even their eldest, Robbie, pitched in, receiving generous rewards from doting grandparents for his stellar school grades.

Then, just when their dream felt tantalizingly close, a phone call changed everything. A past investment—one they had barely thought about—suddenly paid off handsomely with a $950 windfall. And with that stroke of luck, the Buccaneer’s Delight was theirs! 🎱✨

(The Sims 1 really doesn't do parental leave—or sick days, for that matter!).

Despite the pressures, Phoenix flourished, growing into a playful and whimsical child. He had a flair for the fantastical, donning a wizard’s hat, speckled with stars. The dads extended Robbie’s bedroom for the two brothers to share.

Was it a momentary lapse, or is Lance simply a menace in the kitchen? Either way, dinner was reduced to ash, smoke curled into the air, and the frantic scramble to contain the fire began.

The Sims Legacy has received an update. Patch 7, which was released 03.04.25, addresses the following in The Sims game:

Fixed Issues:

- General stability and performance improvements

- Various game tabs don’t use the full available window width

- Name selection for townies is not as random as it should be

- Animal Control can’t be called if the picture-in-picture window is open

- Travel loading screens are inconsistently scaled

- Using Shift + Windows + Arrow keys to move the game window between monitors doesn’t always resize as expected 

- The Sim portrait camera was not always correctly positioned (already created portraits will not be regenerated)

Functionality Improvements: 

- The Sims will warn users whose user names contain characters that could cause crashes 

- Edge-scrolling hit zone now includes the full letterboxing area

The Sims General Notes:

- The Sims requires a Vulkan compatible GPU. Please check GPU compatibility with the manufacturer, and keep your drivers up to date.

- On some NVIDIA GPUs pixels could appear misplaced or misaligned when there is a contrast between them. NVIDIA has a driver in late February that addresses this. Determined to make amends, Tom planned their next outing at Old Farm Square—a spot brimming with fun, food, and love in equal measure.

Their evening began with a lively game of pool, where laughter and playful competitiveness set the tone. Afterward, they shared a delightful three-course meal, during which Tom playfully engaged in a little footsie under the table, showering Lance with his undivided attention. To cap off the night, Tom treated Lance to a drink and made the bold suggestion to continue their evening at his place—a proposal Lance enthusiastically accepted this time.

Once home, Tom welcomed Lance into his newly decorated living room. The night reached a heartfelt climax with a romantic embrace, followed by Tom’s heartfelt request for Lance to move in with him—a significant gesture in lieu of marriage, as same-sex unions were not an option in The Sims 1.
