In August 2019 I took a day trip to Boston. I met my friend Brenda who was working at Boston University. While waiting I hung out at Pavement coffee and tried the Cayenne Ginger Ale which once you add a delicious espresso shot appears as the 'dark and stormy' pictured here. Now that I've got my own espresso maker I'm going to try making this myself!

After meeting up with my friend Brenda I wandered over to Simmons campus to visit my friend Luke. Fenway is littered with campuses and it seems I know someone working at most of them.

And then Margaret came to meet me for the evening in Boston. We headed over to what I suppose was my last meal at Bella Luna before it closed. That place was within a few minute walking distance from my fantastic Jamaica Plain apartment. It was where I went to some fab dyke parties. It was open for 27 years but closed during the early months of the pandemic.

We ended the evening at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Margaret is currently working on an exhibit for the museum which means we'll likely be back to the museum when the exhibit opens in the summer 2022.
