Den osannolika mördaren/The Unlikely Murderer (5 episodes, 2021)
Omg, I just remembered that there’s another TV show Simon Kaijser and Jonas Gardell worked on together besides Don’t Ever Wipe Tears Without Gloves. I had totally forgotten about that! It’s called De dagar som blommorna blommar (The Days the Flowers Bloom).
I’d love to watch that, but I don’t think I’ll find a version with subtitles or anything (especially as I’m avoiding illegal sites).
Spinning Man
Spinning Man [trailer]
A happily married professor, known for having many affairs with students, becomes the prime suspect when a young woman has gone missing.
The resolution isn't really satisfying, it's more interesting until it geets there. Worth watching if one enjoys seeing Pearce and Brosnan.
Life in Squares, Simon Kaijser (2015)
Apparently, the BBC’s Life in squares has been screened in a preview, and according to a Swedish paper, it’s completely brilliant:
”Life in Squares” is the epitome of a great tv drama and offers brilliant visual clarity, is rich on details and has a third and last episode framed by a perfect jump in time.
The director, Simon Kaijser, is Swedish, and did the brilliant Torka aldrig tårar utan handskar (Never wipe tears without gloves). So, hopes are very high for this one! Seems it won’t be aired until late summer, autumn, though.
