THE VOICE OF LEEDS STANDS UP FOR EQUAL MARRAGE WITH CHARITY SINGLE
Leeds based singer has released a cover of Celine Dion’s “A New Day Has Come” to celebrate HM The Queen signing the same sex marriage bill
Over recent months, Simon Millea (26) has been on a number of talent contests on your television screens and LGBT pride events stages in the UK and Europe. Simon wanted to release a charity single in celebration of our government and HM The Queen in passing the same sex marriage bill.
“A New Day Has Come” has been released on over 200 digital stores and streaming sites that include iTunes, Amazon, Deezer, Spotify and Play.com All proceeds from the single will go directly to Stonewall and Yorkshire MESMAC. As a big thank you for all of the hard work campaigning that Stonewall did in support of the legalisation of equal marriage. But also, Simon wanted to ensure that the local charity, Yorkshire MESMAC - that does so much for driving up awareness, supporting people and promoting safe sex - got a share of the sales. As a results 100% the all the profits from the single will go to supporting these charities!
