Had the pleasure of receiving a talk by the very talented street portrait photographer, Simon Murphy. He showcased his new and ongoing project Govanhill, depicting various members of the community in very striking black and white. His images have a very personal feel and he talked about how much the connection to his subjects means to him. From the famous to the unknown, Simon shows that it doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from, everyone is interesting in their own way and his work definitely reflects it.
