NEWS 006: SIMON WEISS - TOMORROW/WORROMOT EP 2012/12/18

Simon Weiss - Tomorrow/Worromot EP (Preview)
Loving the chilled dubstep and bass influenced tracks on this new EP from Simon Weiss. Reminds me of Ifan Dafydd.
Simon Weiss - Amsterdam Wave
An intense and darkly soulful number from Dutch producer Simon Weiss as featured on Rush Hour's recent comp Amsterdam Allstars.
SIMON WEISS - BODY SIGNATURE [112bpm]
The words used to describe this track could also be used to describe my current mood: Deep, emotional, and funky.
Take that as you will, but also take notice that I'm featuring a track at less than 118bpm. I'm also featuring it at 9:34PST, which is not so hot for the blogosphere, but desirable for the song. This is not your every day occurrence.
His new EP "Yesterday Is Around" feels at first like an intense look into some gritty Detroit scenery, but filled with lush, colorful atmosphere. Upon hearing the last track preview, I was floored with fanaticism. The groove this man has produced is astounding.
You'll probably want to order this on vinyl as soon as possible. This is the 11th release from Home Taping is Killing Music [Records], and one to be revered. Catch up on Simon Weiss' sounds via SoundCloud. And, as always:
