The Eaten twins

Dear diary,

We have been blessed with another two boys! I'm now a mom of four boys! I feel so blessed altough I would have loved to have a girl. Our boys are Simon Paul Eaten and Samuel George Eaten. Simon means 'listening' and Samuel means 'God has heard'. Two meanings who go well with eachother, just like twins.

It's not easy being a mom of four childeren under three years old. It's hard I can tell you. But I love all my boys and will give them everything they need.

Sean and Samantha 4th birthday

Dear diary,

My two youngest are four years old! So sweet that they already this big! Time has flown by this last years.

Samantha really is a bit on herself. But that's no wonder with only brothers. Sean is very smart. He is always curious about everything. He is always asking me so many questions.

Sean still sleeps in the same room with Seth and Solomon. They did great the last years so we will try this.

Samantha sleeps with me in the masterbed. I love sleeping with my baby girl. Some nights have been so lonely after the death of Samson.

I also made from his study another two bathrooms because with so many little childeren two wasn't enough. There was always a line. The desk from the study is in the masterbedroom now together with Samsons basebal bat.

My mother came by for a surprise visit. Sometimes it hurts. I need her so much. I have needed her so much the last years. With my own heartache but also with the care of the childeren. But I always have to share her with my million siblings. Having lot's of siblings is fun but sometimes also not so fun.

Mom couldn't stay long but it was nice to see her again. If only she could stop talking about finding me a man.

The twins birthday

Dear diary,

My first set of twin celebrated their fourth birthday recently. I now have four childeren who go to school. I'm very thankful to have less toddlers at home who I have to chass around the house.

They are growing up so fast and are already so big! They look very much a like. Not only from the outside but also from the inside. They love being together but they don't like to have many other people around. Their bond is so special. I love to see them playing together.

They still share the room downstairs. We sold some of the toddlertoys and bought a siencekit with it. The twins but also Seth and Solomon are very happy with their new toy.

My grandparents are celebrating their 60th weddinganniversary! Can you believe it? It's such a blessing to see their marriage. They are such an example to all of us. I hope they will stay with us for some time longer. But we all see my grandfathers health declining.

Baby Eaten #5 and #6

Dear diary,

My first set of twins is now one year old. I can't believe it was only a year ago. They are very sweet and love doing everything together. And most of the time they don't want mommy to help them, they can do it themselfs. So sweet.

Then we got blessed with our second set of twins, a boy, Sean Aaron Eaten. His name means God is gracious. And finaly a girl! Samantha Hope Eaten. Samantha means name of God and Hope is just like my middle name. I'm very happy to finaly have a baby girl. It's just so different then getting boys.

My parents celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary. They have been married for so long already. They are now 55 and 48 years old, have 19 childeren and 23 grandchilderen. There are also three grandbaby's on the way. My sister Charlotte is expecting her 4th. My sister Lucy is expecting her 6th. And my brother William is expecting his first with his wife, Ashleigh.

I'm sometimes so overwhelmed but also so grateful with my six childeren.
