Okay but even if you rely solely on the movie, Max can’t be older than his early 40s. But he also says he was a cop. So let’s assume that was twenty years ago. Twenty years ago society was still intact enough to have cops. Okay. That’s fair.

But Furiosa was kidnapped twenty years ago, and society had crumbled enough that the Vuvalini had formed and Immortan Joe was controlling the only water source in the Wasteland and kidnapping young women to be his brides.

So like. It’s possible that both of those societies were existing at the same time but it’s not probable.
