Frothy tulle in blazer form, my dream come true, puffed sleeves and all. This was THE piece I most wanted from the #simonerochaxhm collaboration for @hm, and I was so grateful I managed to nab it. If you could design one piece for your wardrobe, what would it be? Sheer jackets would be mine, love silk chiffon hooded jackets, silk bombers, maybe a silk tulle kimono (with deep furisode length sleeves)? On Wednesdays, we wear pink. Although 20yo me would be in total shock (I only ever wore black, navy and grey), and would like the last slide (swipe right). Am surprising even current me with this bubblegum pink, tinsel and girly silhouette, which was a last minute addition to cart when many of the #simonerochaxhm items I had in my cart were selling out before I could checkout. And I’m so glad I did, as I’m in love with it! Usually I think and overthink my purchases, and half-expected to be returning this as it wasn’t on my “buy list”. Do you buy spontaneously or mull over purchases like I usually do? On Wednesday’s we wear pink. Twenty year old me would be in total shock (see last slide when you scroll right, that’d be me back then). I’m surprising myself even today, bubblegum pink, tinsel and very girly silhouette? It was a last minute add to cart when items I wanted to purchase from the #simonerochaxhm collab were selling out as I struggled to checkout (too many people going crazy over the collection, like I was), and I’m so glad I did. I am so in love with this coat (had half-expected I’d be returning it)! Also ecstatic I got THE no. 1 piece I wanted (will share soon), and uber cute pink dress for my littlest who declared she doesn’t want to wear it (luckily I bought it for next year as she’s going through a “I hate dresses and skirts “ phase. Anyhoo, have you ever made a last minute purchase where you were happy you did it? Usually I think and overthink my purchases...
