Would you believe that this beautifully embroidered blouse, worn by Megan Follows as Anne Shirley in the 1987 𝑨𝒏𝒏𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑨𝒗𝒐𝒏𝒍𝒆𝒂, did not originate with that production?   This incredible piece was more famously worn by Helena Bonham Carter as Lucy Honeychurch in the 1985 film 𝑨 𝑹𝒐𝒐𝒎 𝑾𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒂 𝑽𝒊𝒆𝒘.   It’s been worn many more times over the years and was recently sold at auction for £6,240. This is a picture of Helena Bonham Carter. She's an English actress who's been in many films, including A Room with a View, Howards End, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Planet of the Apes (2001), the Harry Potter films, but my favourite of her roles was as Marla in Fight Club. She was married to the director Tim Burton.

Helena Bonham Carter is an English actress who is best known for appearing in A Room With A View (1985), Absolutely Fabulous (1994), Terminator Salvation (2009), Lady Jane (1986, Lady Jane Grey), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005), Alice in Wonderland (2010), Dark Shadows (2012), Great Expectations (2012), and Cinderella (2015).

            Bonham Carter was born in Islington, London, her grandmother was the political and feminist Violet, Lady Asquith. Her grandparents were British Liberal politicians; her paternal great-grandfather was H. H. Asquith Prime Minister of Britain (1908-1916). Her grandfather, Spanish diplomat Eduardo Propper de Callejon, saved thousands of Jews during the Holocaust in World War II. In 2008, four of her relatives were killed in a safari bus crash in South Africa, she had to take time out from filming Terminator Salvation.

            Bonham Carter has two children; she was in a relationship with Kenneth Branagh, during his marriage with Emma Thompson. Her relationship with Branagh lasted five years. She began her relationship with director Tim Burton in 2001; she went on to appear in many of his films, their relationship lasted 13 years.

            She is involved in numerous charities including helping those who suffer from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
