(Trance Thursday) For the first Trance Thursday of March, I am showcasing a song from my favorite subgenre of uplifting trance. I have covered both of these artists before, Ahmed Romel in collaboration with Aly & Fila for "Kingdoms," and Simon O'Shine's "Your Distant World." Both of these guys produce orchestral uplifting trance, and when you have them work together on a track, what you get is something emotionally uplifting.
"Erytheia" is not technically a happy uplifting song. Because it's written in F sharp minor, it has a melancholy timbre, but I personally find it sounding quite beautiful. What I imagine is the aftermath of a bad storm; you walk outside and see that there's a lot of debris and things blown around. But when you look up towards the sky, you see the sun among the departing clouds, and you know that it'll get much better from here.
