I wanted to try some sectoral heterochromia with a human Sans, so i decided to draw @simonsoys‘s human Sans being a sleepy boy at his post. He probably just woke up and poorly punned about having flesh at Papyrus (and then immediately went back to his nap)

I don’t like the end result here but I had fun

If I wanted to read the IDW Transformers comics, do you recommend a certain way of going about it? I've picked up a few before on a whim and really liked their tone (Windblade and some All Hail Megatrons), but I can't make heads or tails of what story arcs there are or where to begin.

If you liked All Hail Megatron, I can recommend Last Stand of the Wreckers. It’s set post-AHM and is excellent. Infestation and Heart of Darkness follow that, but I can’t recall much about those arcs (something about zombies???)-- after that Robots in Disguise and More Than Meets The Eye split off into two parallel stories, and they’re both pretty meaty. RiD is wordier, slower, and plays on political machinations and intrigue and whatnot, while MTMTE is rollicking space adventures and one-liners with the occasional heart-rending tragedy and is the one that grabbed me more out of the two (though Windblade sort of dovetails with RiD). Dark Cybertron was a special miniseries that tied the two lines together (and was...okay, imo), and Windblade is set right after that.

I haven’t had a chance to start Lost Light, which is the current arc that picked up after MTMTE wrapped up, but I hear it’s great. 

Other than Dark Cybertron, I’d say each arc is pretty easy to follow in isolation, whether they’re read in order or not. Oh, and RiD changes title to The Transformers about twenty issues in “to avoid confusion”, so that’s a thing. :V

I’m really punchy so I hope this was even slightly helpful. Anyone else have suggestions?

Headcanon time.

Inspired by @simonsoys

Sans was much more enthusiastic, passionate, and energetic when he was younger and not so worn down by life. He was also more openly expressive both verbally and facially, almost an open book compared to how he becomes later down the road.

As a wide-eyed, recent graduate (or the Underground equivalent of one, rather) he truly believed that Monster-kind would get to the Surface, and that he’d be one of the scientists to help get them there. He was confident, motivated, hopeful, and eagerly working alongside his mentor and friend, W.D. Gaster. 

It wasn’t until life began throwing punch after punch that these aspects of Sans personality slowly chipped away, until the type of monster he used to be faded away into everyone’s memory. Whether this is due to time, experiences, or the Resets is anyone’s guess.

After the last post where i mentioned @myrobotlandlord she saw some of my stuff and even reblogged my 3D skelebros house and ohhhh my godd I got notes throughout the day I’m so happy even some other senpais saw it *cries*

That post went from being stagnant at 40+ notes to 362 notes in one day holy shit. Thanks again, I love you guys <’3
